St.George’s Bay is a nice bay in Malta. Great to get a taxi or a boat out to visit. Great views and like most of the waterfront cafe’s and bars.

Beaucoup de bruits .musique assourdissante. Plage vraiment sale . Des travaux partout .Hidalgo frappe même au delà de la france 🤣

La spiaggia di Paceville si trova a San Giuliano... Molto meglio la sera con il riflesso delle luci che la rendono affascinante di giorno niente di eccezionale sia per il mare che per quello che offre

We visited the bay often during our stay. We stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel which has a private beach club here for residents with sun beds, a bar, restaurant and toilets. Lots of shops and bars here plus sops for the sightseeing buses.

La vue de la plage est pas mal, l'eau est propre et moyennement tiède pour la saison. La baie protégée des vents et le sable ressemble plus a du gravier d'allée par contre
La plage est un cendrier géant c'est inimaginable de voir autant de mégots au m2. Les gens sont dégueulasses et la ville pourrait faire quelque chose !!!

St Georges Bay is a short downhill walk around the coast from St Julian's There is also a short cut from the centre of St Julian's and down several steps. You need to remember that you will later have to either make your way back uphill or up the steps on your return journey. The bay has a beautiful Sandy Beach although the bay is is fairly small with a few bars and restaurants including 2 sports bars and a couple of quieter bars at the far end of the bay including a favourite of ours Andrews Bar.

Una spiaggia molto caotica troppo piccola e troppo affollata.
Per i giovani sicuramente sarà un ritrovo ma per le coppie non è l'ideale, non è per niente rilassante, molte sigarette in spiaggia, sporcizia e confusione.

Our first visit to Malta. Purchased the weekly bus ticket online so getting around is sorted. Just wondered as our apartment doesn’t have a pool, is there somewhere like a public pool anywhere near St George’s beach?.Read that the beach is gritty. We are going to travel around the island so we will find the better beaches.

Not able to say. Beach is coarse sand, as are most of Malta's beaches. Buses excellent, beware of being told the "bus station " in St Julian's is round the corner, it's just a bustop opposite the big new supermarket where all routes stop.

Direi di sì, il periodo non è di alta stagione Pasqua a parte . Comunque se non trovi fronte spiaggia ti puoi spostare di qualche centinaio di metri o in qualche stradina interna.

penso che l'idea di andare a Malta sia buona comunque. dipende anche da quello che vuoi fare, per il bagno in mare forse è ancora un pò presto meglio il periodo maggio ottobre, ma per altre attività escursionistiche va benissimo.

si tratta di una piccola spiaggia di circa 150 m. incastonata fra case e alberghi chiusa in una baia e quindi con poche correnti.

Hi first time to Malta: we love to swim in the ocean and need recommendations for places to stay. The Corinth hotel on the bay has some good deals but it seems like the bay would not be good for long swims. Any suggestions. Is Gozo Island a better place to stay?

non conosco l'hotel Corinto, ma in linea di massima malta offre tante buone occasioni anche per i bagnanti, senza togliere niente a Gozo che consiglio comunque di vedere. mesi migliori per il bagno da maggio a ottobre (luglio e agosto forse anche troppo caldi).

Anywhere along the harbour. You will see guys standing along the streets selling boat trips and bus tickets

Buses have all been replaced with new ones so journey is comfortable , takes 20 mins ,bus stop at St julians, buses frequent and a man there will sell you a ticket for 6.5 euro for a whole week of buses to go anywhere.
