We 18 members from Kothamangalam visited on May 20, 2023. It was a total disappointment. Very poorly maintained. The collection is very low. Suggest everyone to keep avoiding this visiting place, until they improve

Vagamon as a town [or a one street village] is nothing to be excited about. What lies outside of this is what is best for travellers. The whole area spread across multiple sq. kms. is simply amazing. I would call it Munnar without the crowd, traffic and the tea estates are simply devine.
There is quite a bit to do depending on what ones motivation is. It would take a bit to get around so having a vehicle is always a plus. Most things can be covered [if you want to do the listed touristy stuff] in a couple of days. However this place for me was to absolutely chill.
Getting decent food for vegetarians is a challenge. We had most meals in the place we stayed in and it was manageable. However the day(s) we headed out it was quite a challege, we had carried snacks so it helped.

If you are a garden lover especially the orchid you must visit here. Also you can but the orchid plants frim here.

It was lovely visiting the place.
We stepped into this place during our trip to Vagmon.
The orchids, the hydrangeas and the bougainvillas were
Looking good.
People wishing to buy plants can buy them.
The cafeteria attached to the garden is a good plan e to relax and have some light refreshments
.

Average review, still under construction, needs lot if improvement, the hot sun will burn you down.
Carry an umbrella for sure, where ever at vagamon at noon. The wind is chilling but sun is really hot.

The place was dry though there were flowers here and there..not a must visit place in vagamon...i dint find many varieties of orchids as projected. We have to walk quite a distance in the hot sun to see the so called orchidarium which has very less blooms...might be coz we went in summer..there is a swing and a slide for children which is the only thing i would appreciate.

Good collection of orchids... Large area to walk and enjoy nature. There is shop to purchase some natural products such as good honey

The orchidarium is small but has beautiful plants there. The orchid are available for sale and are pretty cheap too.

As a traveller...there's nothing much to see at the Orchidarium...I hardly found few orchids and other flower plants. I did not waste much time here. Its an open place so can see what's in from the entrance itself. It didn't seem worth so didn't try to find out more about the project.
