The start is a bit confusing: you have to buy tickets in the shop (= OK), but you have to specify the start time that you want to do the go kart ride: this one seems to be once/hour (at least in September). So, if you first want to do explore some hikes you need to consider and plan this carefully.
The go karts are without any pedals: this is a good think as it makes the karts more stable. There is a debriefing before you start, but this debriefing is in German only - I asked for an English translation as not all of my family members master German. This request was - three times! - ignored. Not a detail because they warn for uphill traffic -and we encountered this 3 times on our way down. This is unacceptable.
Apart from that: you leave as one group, so for those of you that want to show off: this is your time. For the others: let the ones that want to race pass at the start, and enjoy the ride downward at a speed you will feel comfortable with. We were a family of 7, different ages, different adrenaline levels: some went fast, and waited a bit further for the others etc. This was really fun - being the reason I gave this experience 5 starts. Don't get too overexcited on the way down: these go-karts only have one front wheel, making it unstable - and it is easy to go +40 km/h. A good thing: the brakes: only brakes for the rear wheels, the left handle for the left wheel, the right for the right wheel. This allows to take corners at high speed - but again, don't get over excited... At the end, there is a speed camera so you have an idea about your speed. One more note: this is a gravel road, and it can be bumpy.

Fantastische ervaring. Zeker doen als je in de buurt bent, maar omdat je soms in hele grote groepen is (40 of meer bij ons) moet je zorgen dat je helemaal vooraan of helemaal achteraan zit. Wij hadden helaas de pech dat de familie voor ons zich niet wilde laten inhalen en daarbij steeds de pas afsneed waardoor je niet je eigen tempo kan rijden.
Zonder Sommercard is het wel vrij prijzig, wij hadden er gelukkig wel een.

Het was heel erg leuk maar op een bepaalt stuk ben ik omgeslagen met mijn kart verder heel leuk zeker een aanrader alleen uitkijken dat je niet omslaat 🙄

Diesen Spass sollte man sich keinesfalls entgehen lassen. Trotz grossen Ansturms wartet man kaum 10 Minuten und dann geht es in dreirädrigen GoKarts hurtig talwärts. 7 Kilometer Action pur!

Het had erg leuk kunnen worden maar op 13 juli 2020 ben ik van de berg gedonderd tijdens dit karten (25-35m). Gelukkig brak ik alleen mijn sleutelbeen want ik had dood kunnen zijn.

Wir empfehlen, das Go Kart erst auf der Bergstation auszuleihen. Wir haben sie uns in der Talstation ausgeliehen und die sind nicht ganz so toll wie die, die man oben ausleihen kann. Trotzdem 7 km Spaß.

Die Strecke für die Mountain Go Kart entspricht der Rodelbahn im Winter. Daher ist diese Strecke ideal ausgebaut für diese Karts. Somit ist die Fahrt ein Spaß für groß und klein und mit einigem Geschick können auch rasende Geschwindigkeiten erreicht werden.

Mountain-Gokart macht definitiv Spaß und ist ein Erlebnis für Groß und Klein!
Jedoch gab es nach der Ankunft am Gipfel keinerlei Informationen über Helm, Ablauf, Start und die Gokarts an sich (erst kurz vor dem Start stellte ich fest, dass es verschiedene Größen der Drei-Räder gibt..).
Vor dem Start gab es dann nur eine kurze Einweisung, was auf der Strecke zu beachten ist.
Die Strecke zieht sich über mehrere teils starke Kurven bergab mit atemberaubenden Ausblick auf Schladming!
Wichtiger Tipp: Aufgrund der stark staubenden Fahrtstrecke ist eine Brille, evt. Gesichtsschutz und Outdoor-Bekleidung zu empfehlen! (ansonsten ist der ca. 10-12 minütige Spaß aufgrund brennender, tränenden Augen nur halb so groß!)
Wer sehr auf sein Äußeres bedacht ist sei gewarnt: es wird dreckig!
Preis-Leistungsverhältnis befindet sich meiner Meinung nach im oberen Grenzbereich. (27€/ Person für 1x Gondel+Abfahrt)
Dennoch empfehlenswert!

Gut organisiert, unkompliziert und mit stabilen GoKarts. Unseren drei Jugendlichen hat es sehr viel Spaß gemacht und sie würden es sofort wieder machen. Der Spaß ist mit 17 Euro pro Fahrt nicht günstig, aber auch nicht teuer
Was könnte besser sein: Neben Helmen könnten die Fahrer auch Schutzbrillen bekommen und die Anzahl der Fahrer pro Runde (jeweils zur vollen Stund) könnte limitiert werden.
Tipp: Den eigenen Helm mitbringen, dann passt er wirklich gut und man weiß wer ihn vorher aufhattte...
Tipp 2: Eine Schutzbrille mitbringen.
Tipp 3: Wenn man nicht ganz vorne fährt, schluckt man Staub. Da hilft ein Tuch oder ein Mund-Nasen-Schutz.

We did it the whole family: dad, mom and three girls. The little one sat with me. We all really had great time and fun. Insanely.
The pleasure is a bit expensive, but the view is drom the top is amazing (as usual in this area) and the road down is long and delightful. recommended.

Wenn Kinder alleine fahren sollen, dann ab 10 Jahre. Ansonsten können die Kinder mir den Erwachsenen mit fahren. Aber da würde ich auch sagen, sollte das Kind schon etwa 5 Jahre sein...
