The temple is maintained in a clean and tidy manner. I went around 8.30 AM and there was nor much rush. Had a splendid darshan of Goddess. The priests are kind and polite.
Definitely I would like to visit again and again.
On the whole I had a beautiful and pleasant experience at the temple.

We had a short 2 day trip from Hubli and this was our second stop after Gayathri Tapobhoomi. The temple is very beautiful so the experience along the trip. Our plan was to go directly to Gokarna but we got a suggestion from one of our relatives and took the diversion. This is totally worth a visit and take the blessings of the Godess.
There are other places to visit apart from temple but due to time crunch, we limited our plan to the temple.

Marikmba Temple Is is Located in Sirsi-Karnataka ....It Is Goddess DURGA Temple 🙏 This place is 84km from Gikarna, we friends travel from Mumbai first we visited Narsoba Wadi, then Kolpur Mahalaxmi Temple... Marikamba Temple, and Gokarna.... Marikamba Temple façade a nineteen century addition.... Marikamba is Avtar Of Goddess Durga also known as RENUKA and YELLAMMA ....Nicely Crafted Temple worth to Visit

I had read about the jatra n wanted to visit this from long time. Got opportunity finally.
The outside enterance beautiful with mural paintings. The inside of the temple is old and built in 16th century. The idol of Marikamba is beautiful. She has 8 arms and a devine grace blessing all the devotees going there.
The temple provides lunch. There is a place for keeping footwear charging a minimal of 1 rs.
While visiting the temple it is advisable to wear traditional attire.

Actually went went to our home town for dad's yearly rituals but as our friend came with us wanted to see nearby Holly places so we visited the marikambe temple... Yana and vibhuti falls... It was nice but preferable time to visit is September for all the places so changed plan for bhimanagudda... 😊

If you visit Sirsi, you cannot afford to miss this old temple dating back to 1688. Durga in the form of Doddamma.She has 8 shoulders. They used to sacrifice a buffalo here till Mahatma Gandhi led a movement against it. The bi annual Jatra is attended by phenomenal crowds. The outside facade is new and reminds one of the Goan temples. But inside is still the old construction. You can tickets for the puja before you go inside. It is crowded inside. Outside there is a smaller temple where once you pray you are not supposed to look back.

Sirsi is synonymous with Marikamba dieity. Anyone in Sirsi he to visit the amma. The goddess idol is all powerful. The place very peaceful. Though the approach road to the temple is narrow and crowded, the temple premises oozes peace. There is not much rush; we had gone on a week day. I heard holidays are no much different. One can have the darshan of the goddess without obstruction.

One of the oldest temple. Very nice place to see. Beautiful godess. Temple also provide lunch as prasadan which is very nice. Don't miss the temple if you go near Sirsi.

Famous, Favourite god for many within city and around the city. Jatra of this devi celebrated every alternate year and its biggest jatra in karnataka.
