Its a very good experience going on top of hill ...believe me u r gonna forget every problem ,tention ,and other things when u r trecking up to the top of parasnath .especially with ur friends.. It is the most wonderful abd satisfying experience.. Going top of parasnath hill .....very beautiful and exciting place ..u will enjoy a lot there .

Parasnath temple is located in Giridih district about 35 kilometer away from giridih town. It is very holy place lots of devotees came and pray.

Since the time I read about the Parasnath hills, I had made up my mind to go solo for my wife cannot climb. Opportunity ame when my wife was away. three and half hours by train from Ranchi and a share auto found me at Parasnath and I had booked at a government cottage as other accommodations was already booked. I began the Trek the next day early in the morning at about 5 am. I didn't do the trek for religious purpose as most fellow travellers did. they come in all shapes and sizes and there are the palanquins carried by sturdy men for those who cannot climb. The way was fairly well laid out with steps and cemented slope tracks and well dotted with refreshment stalls all the way offering tea, lemon juice, fruits and biscuits. As it was October cool breeze caressed and made the climb pleasant. It took about 9 hrs to go up and down. It does get very hot by noon but I was more or less back by then.

One of the most famous place and always in the list of Jain community people. Must visit site. At a height but has all the facilities and has all the options to have food and rest in between.

We thoroughly enjoyed the sammetshikhar dharamshala and pahad yatra of Parasnath hills in Jharkhand a most revered jain pilgrimage experience of the lifetime achievement and doing sevapuja at Jalmandir at sammetshikhar .

The parasnath temple/ tonk will be the last stop of the shikharji pilgrimage, you will be able to see the entire route from here. Don't forget to visit the secret cave under the temple.

This is the temple at the very top of the hill. It has two places, one where Lord Parasnath used to meditate and one where he attained Nirvana. The place where Lord Parasnath used to meditate is under a cave where you'll find the sign of his toes called as 'Pagliaji'. there will be a panditji who will help you chant mantra and do swaha on the pagliaji. you can also do a short arti of lord Parasnatha.

Situated at an altitude of more than 4500 feet from the sea level and also the highest point of the state of Jharkhand,this is a must visit for the tourists at Giridhi.You will also experience inner peace and the cool breeze of the place along with the scenery surrounding you.Must visit and highly recommended....
