A sacred space where you can step out of the rat race for some precious moments.
The view of the Foyle on walking down the aisle toward the open main door is spectacular‬

‪Lovely chapel‬

‪This is a beautiful chapel, very clean polished look. Love the statues at the candle shrines and the side alter behind the railings to the left. Very modern looking stations of the cross. When you step out of the door onto the steps, the view of the Foyle is wonderful to see.‬

‪A very peaceful place. Beautiful interior. Come here with my family every time I visit Moville... Father O’ Hagan lead the mass we attended and he is one of the loveliest priests I know.. great place‬

‪A quiet place to reflect‬

‪Churches can be great places to sit and reflect. St. Plus X in Moville is one such place. Surprisingly large for such a small town as Moville, inside it has a most peaceful, reflective atmosphere. Unlike a lot of churches, it was also warm and comfortable, even mid week. I enjoyed my visit and a welcome bit of quiet time.‬

‪Community church‬

‪I tend to always go where the locals go and they certainly come here in their droves! I attended Sunday mass here as I was away from my own chapel. Lovely service and very personal which is always nice! Everyone was really friendly and welcoming!‬

‪Lovely building‬

‪I have a mobile home in Greencastle very close to Moville and here is where we would have attended mass. During service times the building is filled with people. The building is very accessible. ‬

‪church visit‬

‪Most people when visiting towns, always call in to the local church for a few moments quiet contemplation .
St Pius,s offers this in abundance , it is not particularly ornate but the tranquil feeling on entering is something to experience .
The internal furnishings such a statues and the stained glass are in keeping with the ambience of the church.
If you happen to visit when mass is finished just have a wander round and experience the solitude this lovely church offers .
On leaving you are greeted with a wonderful view of Loch Foyle in all its glory‬
