We visited and were delighted with the selection of ceramic pottery. We bought 3 pieces of pottery and 3 handmade wooden pens. Niall was very welcoming and pleasant giving us some history about the items. This was a lovely experience and we will certainly visit when we are next in Moville. Thank you Niall and well done!

An enjoyable activity to do with family. We've been twice now and have lots of mementos of our stays in Moville in the form of cups and Christmas tree decorations.

Absolutely fantastic paint your own pottery experience. The Guys are really passionate about their craft and were so happy to show my Sister and I around their workshop and explain the different pottery making processes. We were delighted to actually get to see them at work at the wheel making mugs for a local hotel. Painting our pottery was such an enjoyable and relaxing experience, can't wait to see our finished items which will be posted to us within a few days. An added bonus are Lacey and Phoebe, the pottery's two gorgeous dogs, its worth visiting just for some doggie cuddles!!! If you're in the area give the Pottery a visit, you won't be disappointed!

Thank you so much for your lovely review. It really makes a big difference when we know that people have such a good experience visiting us. We love seeing people coming in to the studio. We get to meet people from all over and chat to them, which is brilliant for us too.

What a fabulous shop and workshop. We called in to see if a bit of pottery painting would be possible and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. The kids got to select a piece of unglazed pottery, from among many styles, to paint. They sat in the middle of the workshop, near the potter who was throwing beautiful pieces. There were excellent colours and paintbrushes to choose from and it felt like a very real experience rather than a manufactured one targeted at kids. We couldn’t resist also buying one of their beautiful chowder/soup bowls, like the one we had eaten from a few days prior in Nancy’s Barn. Well done to all involved on a very authentic business with great craftsmanship.

Saw a sign for the Pottery and decided to have a look. Wow!
We thought it would just be another shop but no, we were brought into the workshop and stood beside one of the potters (Larry I think) and watched as he created a bowl from a piece of clay.
The skill and craftsmanship was mesmerizing and gave us an appreciation of the work involved in making quality products.
Needless to say we left with a large box of items which we're using already.
It's not cheap, but it's fantastic value.

Great place to visit, whether it is to buy a moville famous pottery souvenir or if its for a kids birthday party you will be guarnteed to have fun.

Called on way back from touring. Disappointed with quality of pottery nothing tempting except soap but it had no price.

Thank you for your review. I am surprised that you didn't like the quality of our pottery. I could understand if you were not attracted by our designs or glazes - beauty is in the eye of the beholder - but we have never been criticized about the quality of our products.
You were correct about the soaps not having a price attached and that has now been rectified.

Recently ordered dishes on line to be shipped from Ireland to the US. They arrived beautifully packed & are gorgeous!
Stopped by shop on my trip to Ireland in May to thank them!

Along with selling pottery, they also allow guests to make their own coloring on the pots.Its good fun.
One can collect their pot in a day or 2.or can get them by post in 3-4 days.
It’s probably slightly expensive but worth the experience!
Ample parking and toilets are available.

Just a shop selling local pottery - quality ok but prices quite high. Really not worth the time to visit. Also quite hard to find - satnav not very helpful

I'm sorry that you didn't realize that we open short hours on a Saturday. Being a small family business, where we are all involved in producing the pottery during the week we like to make sure that everyone gets enough time off at the weekend. Our position & also opening hours are displayed on Google maps & Facebook. We also have a finger post at the bottom of our road but there is always room for improvement
I feel that I must point out that as well as our own pottery ranges we also have a large selection of locally produced arts & crafts.

We do not open on Sundays. We are open
Monday to Friday 10 am - 5.00 pm
Saturday 12 noon - 5.00 pm
