Si la naturaleza es lo tuyo, no te pierdas ésta visita.
Puedes hacer senderismo (diferentes rutas según tu preferencia y capacidad física) y disfrutar del maravilloso paisaje que te ofrecen las montañas azules de mi tierra Honduras! Durante el recorrido te deleitarás con una gran diversidad de flora y fauna, por algo es seleccionado por los avistadores de aves.
Puedes hacer senderismo (diferentes rutas según tu preferencia y capacidad física) y disfrutar del maravilloso paisaje que te ofrecen las montañas azules de mi tierra Honduras! Durante el recorrido te deleitarás con una gran diversidad de flora y fauna, por algo es seleccionado por los avistadores de aves.

Great place to visit. They have long and short hikes. The shortest hike ends at a nice waterfall and swimming area. It’s an easy walk to do with small kids. The restaurant is decent.

Came here towards the late afternoon as we were doing a hike and wanted to see the sun setting from one of the various viewpoints on the trails. The hike itself was easy (we didn't do the one that is several kilometers). The waterfall was lovely.
If you can, also stay at the lodge onsite as there is literally no noise from modern society throughout the night - just nature at it's finest.

Wouw wat een mooie plek. Goed onderhouden en veel dieren te zien. Ik zou het zeker aanraden erheen te gaan! Het is er prachtig!

Overview: The park is pristine and well worth the visit and price of admission (180 L- $8). The views from the sinai trail are spectacular but the hike is very difficult. For the less adventurous there are bird watching towers and easier trails that offer good views and ambiance. They also have a waterfall area you can swim in which is spectacular and easy to get to.
Sinai Trail. This trail ascends 1600 meters vertically over any 2400 meters in length. An average grade of almost 40 degrees! It's much steeper in some areas. Imagine climbing stairs for 1.5-2 miles. Add in 100% humidity at 90 degrees Fahrenheit and an altitude change and you have a difficult challenge ahead. The views are worth it (but you leg muscles may disagree). Plenty of benches and places to stop and rest. The trail is decent and well kept but is narrow, rocky, and lots of roots. Trail takes 3.5 hours with minimal breaks up to 6 I'd you really take your time. I recommend taking tons of water. We packed 3 liters and ran out half way through the 6 km trail. I did drink water directly from the waterfalls and it was fine. Very good quality and refreshing.
Waterfall: there is only one waterfall you can swim in, as all the others are sourced as drinking water. It's probably 65 degrees Fahrenheit but amazing to cool off after sweating 1/3 of your body weight for 4 hours. Highly recommend and very scenic.
Getting there: we stayed at DD Brewery. You can catch buses to La Guama for a few dollars. You have to get a moto taxi to PANACAM, it's about 25 minutes each way and 200 L ($8) Each way. Get your taxi drivers number on whatsapp so that you don't end up stranded. People at the lodge can also call you a taxi and offer free wifi. Busses leaving La Guama end at 6 pm so plan accordingly or you'll pay a lot for a moto taxi or have to hitchhike.

Offensichtlich sind die Bewertungen hier veraltet. Mir hat der Park sehr gut gefallen. Ich habe von SPS den Bus nach La Guama genommen. Von dort aus ein TukTuk (150 Lep) zur Pancam Lodge. Der Eintritt hat 150 Lep gekostet. Mein Gepäck konnte ich kostenlos dort lassen. Außerdem habe ich kostenlos Kaffee und Frühstück bekommen. Ich hatte mich für den Sinai Trail entschieden. Ich habe 2,5h gebraucht - im Normalfall braucht man 3h. Zuvor habe ich eine kleine ausgedruckte Karte bekommen und eine Beratung zu den einzelnen Wegen. Der Weg beginnt mit einem Aussichtsturm - je nach Höhe sind Hinweisschilder welche Vögel man sehen kann. Die erste Stunde ist relativ anstrengend, weil es nur bergauf geht (2,5km). Alle x Meter kommt eine Sitzbank und z.T. auch Meter-Anzeigen. Auf dem Weg sind 2-3 Aussichtspunkte. Tolle Landschaft - alles grün und der See ist zu sehen. Unterwegs habe ich auch ein paar Vögel gesehen und eine Art Eichhörnchen. Zum Abschluss bin ich noch zum Wasserfall gelaufen.
Ich fand den Park gut gepflegt und ich konnte mich gut orientieren. Ich konnte schöne Aussichten genießen, es gab Vögel zu sehen, einen Wasserfall und alles war grün.

Pour les randonnées à pied et pour la Panacam Lodge, un endroit sympa pour se reposer lors d'un voyage.

I never toght to see a place such great in Honduras, is a must explore place in Honduras even tough you have to be in a good phisical shape to walk in this park.

La caminata por el parque es de 4 a 5 horas, depende del paso de cada quién. Es una hermosa caminata que nos regala bellos paisajes, el màs lindo es la vista hacia el Lago de Yojoa, también hay acceso a cascadas y bellas mariposas. Para observación de aves hay que levantarse muy temprano. Las fotos no son lo mismo que estar en la cima mirando hacia el lago. Pidan prestado en Panacam Lodge un bastón de apoyo de bambú para que sea màs fácil la subida y bajada.

Fantastisk natur och vackra vyer. Olika fåglar överallt att skåda. Vi såg även två olika typer av ormar. Finns olika långa vandringsleder, vissa rätt tuffa då de är väldigt branta, men helt underbar naturupplevelse.
