Great little free museum with a viewing deck with lovely views
Open every day at 10.30am this three storey museum at the base of the lighthouse has a display of local history and craft wares
Clean modern toilets can not be faulted, plus the bonus air conditioning on the museum floor
Helpful friendly staff

It is THE famous spot in Maspalomas even if you cannot visit it.
From there, you can walk in Boulevard El Faro and enjoy the many shops & restaurants there.
You will have also, close to the lighthouse, many Homemade products from Gran Canaria.

Dopo una passeggiata sulla spiaggia si arriva al Faro di Maspalomas e da li inizia la passeggiata a mare Meloneras costeggiata da centri commerciali e locali meravigliosi .

Solo he estado en el faro,no conozco la zona.Hize el paseo por la playa hasta llegar al faro me gustó más las dunas que vas viendo por la playa.

Definitely a nice area to walk and stroll around, especially I the evenings, plenty restaurant and at sunset the faro looks beautiful. definitely recommend to be there in the evening.

Mooie vuurtoren, herkenningspunt op Meloneras. Het bovenste van de toren staat in de steigers. Aan de pier worden vaak foto's gemaakt.

Lovely museum within the lighthouse deserves a visit.
Market stalls outside are amazing.
Food nearby brilliant and reasonable but waiting time quite long as busy & freshly cooked to order so acceptable

Hervorragendes 5 Sterne Hotel, sehr gepflegte, angenehme Atmosphäre. Sehr schöne Zimmer mit traumhaften Meerblick, extrem komfortables Bett. Das Designer- Waschbecken im Zimmer mag vielleicht interessant sein, ist aber eher unpraktisch.
Sehr gutes u. freundliches Servicepersonal, feine Gastronomie. Auch die breiten, weich gepolsterten Liegen am Pool sind hochwertig u. komfortabel.
Einziges Manko: Die riesige Ibiza Sky Lounge eines externen Betreibers auf dem Dach, ist teilweise extrem laut u. im ganzen Haus zu hören. Betriebszeit war von 10:00-20:00

You can yes. Sorry cannot be more helpful and say from where but there were a number of people in rented mobility scooters. Even the limo type double seater ones! 🤣

Alguien sabe si por el paseo de meloneras, antes y después del faro hasta las dunas se puede pasear con mascota?? y si después de las 18h es posible llevar a la mascota a alguna de las dos playas que hay antes y después del faro? Gracias!!

Sinceramente, no sé, pero yo no vi mascotas (perros) dunas o en la playa de Maspalomas, así que supongo que no se puede.
