You can actually see the waterfall from the carpark but it is worth your while to make the short trek up the steps.
It was a hot day and it was pleasant to be able to soak in the cool waters, especially as there were not many people around.
As it was a Friday, we were told that we had to leave by 12 noon as the guards wanted to go for prayers. Entry fee was $3 per passenger.
Do keep an eye on your belongings as there are some monkeys in the neighboring trees.

Park is still close. Bentong is my home town so came back for a visit. Disappointed park still close. Suspect due to road block debris. On my way in and out saw a number of cars. Very disappointed with local authority who should put up a sign board outside to inform visitors that park is still close. Saw a small group of monkey.

We have give a visit to here and is such an amazing huge waterfall. I think due to raining season, the water volume was full and give us different experiences.

Despite websites and the sign saying the park would be reopened after the CMCO, it was still closed. Lots of trash lying about, very old facilities, poorly maintained.

Visited Chamang Waterfall today mid morning where it was not crowded with tourist and it was definitely worth the visit. The waterfall definitely was 👌 and it’s a good place to have a good picnic getaway from the city area especially during a weekday. Definitely should come on a weekday to avoid the crowd as it’s less crowded.

very disappointed that the place was closed on the long Hari Raya weekend.
it was also closed during the MCO.
Having been here a few months ago, this is one of the prettiest waterfalls in Malaysia.
That said, beware during rainy seasons as a number of drownings had occured due to whirlpool and flash flood gushing down to sweep swimmers to the grave undercurrents.
Suggest the auth be more responsive and advise visitors of closures.

Visited this morning, not so crowded could be due to Covid-19. Good spot that closes to the city to spend half a day for fresh air. The waterfall is quite stunning this morning as the water volume is huge might be due to raining for the past few days.

Beautiful falls to view and have a quick dip. The area needs a serious upgrade to make it more accessible for families. In particular better areas for picnics and changing. Access fee is cheap but wouldn't mind paying more for better facilities. Take food and drink in as there are no kiosks there.

From the peak the falls look intimidating so stay at safe zones. There's at least one loss of life annually. The cool water does wonders on a hot day. Need to pay a small sum before entering the area - assuming it's for the upkeep. There's litter here and there but generally alright for chilling.

一個適合一家大細少旅遊勝地，設施可算齊備有小食、有衛生間、小型兒童遊樂場亦可以燒烤的地方，停車車位比較多，可以嬉水之餘亦可行山，景色優美，是一個消暑的好去處

The washroom is very dirty. If you are concerned about that sort of thing, suggest not to use.
How distant it is from the car cable station
Can i go there by walking or by uber?

I think you are referring to Genting cable car. It is quite a distant from there. Maybe about additional 45 minutes drive. Might have trouble getting Uber for return trip.

Is bentong enough to visit for one day or do I need few more days to cover the whole of it?

It should depend on how you plan your trip. If you are not too hungry, you can go to the hot spring first. Reason is the road coming in/going out of Bentong is between the hot spring and to Bentong town.
If you go to the hot spring first, then you need not have to go past the entry/exit road when you visit the hot spring last.
If you are hungry when you getting into Bentong, then, definitely you would go hunt for something to eat in town. Most of the eateries/restaurants are located in town, anyway.
After that, better to go to Chamang waterfall, as it is the other end, as in the opposite end of the hot spring.

Can go to the waterfall by ourself or need a tour guide to guide us there? how long is the walking distance? thank you.

We used our own transport to reach the waterfall. The waterfall located 10 km after the Bentong signboard from the main road. Its easily accessible with car just take left from the Bentong signboard and no tour guide requred.
