It’s unreasonably expensive, there are no benefits, you can’t get into the museum without a tour, there are a lot of exhibits. The exhibits are divided by year and topic, but one gets the impression that things are just piled up. The room is small, the guide is good. However, for a half-hour excursion 600 rubles. too much.

Great museum. Pleasant memories of childhood. The guide tells short stories in a very interesting way. The exhibits completely allowed us to return to childhood. We saw things exactly like those used in our family. Thank you for the wonderful mood. Prosperity to you, more visitors

The museum amazed with the WEALTH OF THE COLLECTION:
postcards, banknotes, perfumes, clothes, toys, household appliances, equipment, gramophones, dishes, school uniforms and thousands of other items from the 40s to the 90s of the XX century, i.e. covers almost the entire period of the existence of the USSR.
It’s very nice that the entrance ticket ALREADY INCLUDES a TOUR of the museum (~40 minutes) and even if there are only 2 of you, this excursion will be fully carried out for you as part of the entrance ticket.
The excursion is cyclical (without a schedule) - visitors come and are immediately given a tour. And if the excursion has already begun for those who came to the museum before you, you can join at any time and listen further. After the end of the first excursion, the guide will definitely return to you and take you through it from the very beginning to the place where you joined.
EXCELLENT SOLUTION (I have never seen such an approach anywhere before)!
The exhibition is structured very logically - together with the guide you gradually move from the earliest years (starting from the 40s) to the last years of the existence of the USSR. The guide tells really INTERESTING FACTS that even many adult generations of the USSR do not know about.
A HUGE PLUS of the excursion is that the guide not only tells, but clearly demonstrates: how, for example, a wartime gramophone, a Soviet-era tape recorder/video camera/telephone works (by the way, the equipment is still in good condition!), and lets you listen to the aromas of Soviet perfumes and famous colognes (Red Moscow, Troynoy, Chypre), etc.😊
GREAT RESPECT for the guide is the involvement of children in the excursion (they are given a camera in their hands so that they try themselves as a cinematographer; they are allowed to try writing with an ink pen while sitting at a school desk in the 90s, and other interactive moments during the excursion).
After the tour, you can walk around the museum for an unlimited time and take pictures of everything.
We were captured by memories from childhood, almost every object resonated in our hearts, when we interrupted each other we pointed to objects, repeating “our grandmother had such a chandelier”, “my parents had such a Singer sewing machine”, “when I was a child I played in such table hockey" and an infinite number of times we were touched by these forgotten, but left a mark in our hearts
gizmos.
At the exit there is a small dining room, also completely stylized in the USSR era with aluminum cans, faceted glasses, triangular milk bags, etc. They serve hand-made dumplings here (we didn’t try it, there was no time left, unfortunately, we had to go to another museum).
The overall impressions are AMAZING!!! I WILL DEFINITELY come back here and bring my relatives and friends who witnessed these times in the history of our country!
THANK YOU SO MUCH to the museum for magical memories, positive emotions, a client-oriented approach and a guide who can capture attention and really captivate, as if “carrying away” to the times of our childhood and youth!

There are many similar places now. Nostalgia for the happy times of childhood - that’s what it is) The museum is small, and of course, it’s difficult to accommodate all the exhibits. But the museum did its best, everything is accessible, you can look, touch, gasp, groan. The entrance ticket is 600 rubles, it includes a self-guided tour with no time limit and a short excursion that takes place every 20 minutes. You can join at any stage with one group, then finish listening with another. I liked that they try to involve children during the excursion, let them play records, try to take a picture with a FED camera, sit at “our” desk, etc. This is good, because children don’t really understand all this wonderful romance of ours;) There is also a cafe stylized to resemble the image and cuisine of the times of the USSR. We took ice cream in a bowl, three scoops with chocolate chips. It’s clear that the ice cream isn’t the same anymore, but it’s still delicious. Dumplings, dumplings, lemonades, there is a choice, we didn’t take it since we were there in the morning. There is a small souvenir department, also with references to the pleasant little things of those times. Overall we had a pleasant time. I recommend the museum.
