My favorite time at Epcot. Love the flowers everywhere. This is probably my favorite place at Disney. A lot of hidden charms and great places to eat.

Spring is such a great time to go to EPCOT. It's cool and breezy in the morning, and the temperature rises to the 80's (sometimes 90's) by midday. It's the best Florida weather, and the flowers are in bloom. The International Flower & Garden Festival is just that added bonus on admission day. This is that creative time of year when EPCOT pulls out that whimsical gardening flare that you see throughout the park. It's truly magical.
But, it's not just about the flowers & plants. There are topiaries displayed meticulously in optimal view. It's perfect for picture taking. Some are kind of hidden like the Baby Groot topiary. You just have to walk off the beaten path every so often to take in everything.
There's a schedule of performers during the festival that's called The Garden Rocks Concert Series. The group performing the days that we were there was the M-80s. We missed A Flock of Seagulls by a day. That would have been so awesome!
There's a place called Butterfly Landing that has all types of butterflies flying around in their habitat. You can even see the lifecycle of a butterfly in every stage. If you happen to be there on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday then you may be able to catch the Purple Martins presentation at 1pm. Yes, even Purple Martins have a resort in Disney World.
The best part of all is the festival cuisine. You won't need to make reservations, or eat at a quick service restaurant. There are food kitchens throughout the park with healthier options. There are many vegan options as well. The portions are smaller for sampling, but with more reasonable prices. We stopped by the Northern Bloom kitchen at the Canada Pavilion. It was really the only menu that had something for both of us. Hubby selected the Beef Tenderloin Tips. I was unable to get a picture of it because he devoured it. I went with the Seared Scallops. It was actually quite tasty even though it didn't look anything like the picture in the Festival Passport. Yes, and don't forget about the Festival Passport. You'll get a free festival treat at the Pineapple Promenade if you purchase 5 Garden Graze items. Make sure they stamp your passport.
Oh, and don't forget to get your limited edition Orange Bird ornament that was made specifically for this 2024 festival. I couldn't leave without one. I highly recommended going to this festival. It's just a beautiful time to go.
