We visited to bring some of their olive oil back to the USA for gifts for family and friends. We had the opportunity to see some of the property including the tower. The view was amazing and we learned about their organic production and other farming. Highly recommend!

It started when we drove into the beautiful driveway with vines and olive trees on the left and right. We were able to park the car under the trees and the welcome was warm. Our table was ready with 5 wine glasses and we were explained about the different wines by a real sommelier. The wine/food combination was also delicious and was well explained. After the tasting, a tour of the vineyard and the process involved. Everything told to us with care and attention. Highly recommended!

Accoglienza impeccabile, personale preparato e cordiale, ottima scelta dei vini e ottimi i piatti serviti.
Torneremo sicuramente a trovarli, consigliamo la visita a tutti.

Wijnproeverij bij Masseria Altemura een dikke 10! We kregen een rondleiding door de wijngaard en kregen te zien hoe de wijn gemaakt werd. We deden de Flavours of Puglia en kregen 5 wijnen te proeven met lekkere hapjes erbij. Echt een superleuke ervaring en Brigitta heeft ons supergoed geholpen 🌞

The owner at our Mesagne B&B recommended this tasting room to us. She had a dual language brochure (Italian and English) that I was able to look over and on the basis of those, we reserved a $10 tasting. Mr. Lombardini, the host, welcomed us with slightly accented English and we immediately liked him. He has a real “twinkle” in his eye.
After a bit of chatting, we were seated in a gorgeous restored room with attractive views of the surrounding grounds. The gold tinted local stone glowed in the late afternoon sunlight. (We visited at 6 pm in May.) I was expecting to taste only three wines, but we had six sparkling glasses in front of us and were presented with two whites, a rose, and three reds. Mr. Lombardini , Alyosha, and his new “trainee”, Bridgetta, presented each wine with brief and to the point remarks.
I have been to many other wine tastings and I was most impressed with the wine comments. They were concise and easily understood by beginners to the Italian wine world but Alyosha was able to answer all my questions and clearly knows his subject matter in great depth. (He is a native of Tuscany.)
This was a wonderful, unpretentious introduction to the wines made from grapes used in Puglia. My friend and I bought a few bottles to drink while we continued our travels. If you are staying in the area of Mesagne, Brindisi, Ostuni or there about, this is an easy to find estate just a tiny bit off the beaten track.

We had a wonderful visit to Masseria Altemura! We did a cooking class and wine tasting! Julia met us and guided us around (her English is fabulous) We learned to make Orrechetta - which the chef made look much easier than it really was!! While our Pasta was being cooked for lunch, we took a tour of the winemaking facility. We came back to the beautiful main area where we ate lunch and tasted 4 of the wines! They were all superb!! I would definitely recommend visiting while you are in the Brindisi area!!!

In zona con mia moglie per qualche giorno di vacanza, individuiamo un venerdì questa masseria altamente raccomandata per degustare alcuni vini ed acquistarne altri da riportare a casa.
Dopo aver preso contatto telefonico, ed aver appreso che il giorno successivo sarebbe stata chiusa la masseria, siamo partiti in fretta e furia dalla spiaggia per arrivare entro l’orario di chiusura (ore 17).
Arrivati alle 16, dopo aver modificato i piani della giornata per poter effettuare la visita, ci è stato comunicato in malo modo che non era presente più nessuno che potesse seguirci e che di conseguenza “sarà per un’altra volta”.
Lascio i commenti del caso a chi legge, onde evitare improperi.
Sconsigliato.

Siamo andati a metà luglio. Preso appuntamento per telefono alle 15. Caldo ma ventoso... Sono stato con mia moglie. Siamo stati guidati e coccolati nella visita da una responsabile esperta, appassionata di vini e anche molto carina, che vorrei ringraziare nuovamente. Masseria ristrutturata. Si possono visitare una chiesetta con alcuni affreschi restaurati e una terrazza -piccionaia panoramica meravigliosa con bella vista sulle vigne. Uno dei momenti più intensi del viaggio in Puglia. Da non perdere. Sembra stranamente più popolare tra gli stranieri che per gli italiani.

My husband and I recently visited Masseria Altemura in September, and although a little rainy it was such a great experience. Its a must when visiting the Puglia region!! Giulia was our guide for the day and she was very knowledgeable about the Masseria and attentive to all the guests. The overall property is incredible and beautiful, I think i have about 1000 pictures of the property its that beautiful.
We did wine tasting and lunch, and OH MY GOSH not only is the wine amazing but so is the FOOD! I mean the focaccia bread, olives , taralli's, and other snacks was just the start of the lunch, on top of pasta, meats, burrata, more cheese, etc., - food just kept coming out and all so delicious. I have never been so full, yet could not stop eating all of the food. Now on to the wine, we LOVED it and cannot wait to order a few cases back to the U.S. My husband is not a big white wine or sparkling wine drinker, and he loved the Saliente and Rose!
Overall experience was amazing and I highly recommend anyone traveling/visiting Puglia to make this a MUST to visit!

Abbiamo fatto visita il 3 settembre scorso e ne siamo rimasti affascinati.
Giulia ottima accoglienza e successiva visita delle cantine con tutte le spiegazioni e le fasi di produzione vinicola.
Infine istruzione da parte della nostra Maestra Elisa per la preparazione delle orecchiette... ebbene si, le abbiamo fatte noi sotto la guida esperta e successivamente le abbiamo potute gustare in abbinamento a vini eccellenti.
Gli amici Emanuele, Gladio, Orietta e Francesca Vi consigliano di godere di questa esperienza davvero meravigliosa. Complimenti alla Famiglia Zonin.
