Far better than expected. Like everyone I bought a combined ticket with the Chapel to see the Chagall windows. I went to the museum first and decided to give it a proper visit, not just go because it was there. I was really delighted, both at the Chagall and associated material, but also many other excellent parts too. Lots about the amazing Yvette Cauquil-Prince and her art and tapestries. Totally different were the art from Roman, stone age, iron age etc. Superb presentation showed off these treasures. It's also housed in an amazing building.

In combinatie met het mooie raam van Chagall (combinatieticket 6 euro) mooi museum met mooi wandkleed. Verder prachtige romeins-gallische vondsten en navolgers van Chagall.

un haut lieu culturel local, spécialement la partie préhistoire qui nous apprend tant sur notre région, les secteurs Mittelbronn, Kourtzerode, Réding... merci à vous, en plus, endroit très propre, très bien entretenu, un vrai régal que vous soyiez historien ou simple curieux !

Nous sommes allés visiter ce musée dans le cadre d’Halloween, j’avais appelé plus d’un mois avant pour réserver, la dame que j’avais eu au téléphone m’avez dit que c’était un accompagnateur par enfant. Quand nous sommes arrivés sur place on m’annonce que c’est un seul adulte par groupe alors que nous sommes venus de Thionville exprès ! Alors que la salle était vide il y avait largement la place pour mon épouse ! Petite animation de conte pour enfants très brève ! Sinon joli musée !

I wouldn't go out of my way but if you are already in town this is a nice little museum. It makes for a good wander.

Suite du parcourt Chagall, avec la tapisserie de Yvette Cauquil-Prince. Tapisserie d'après le vitrail "La Paix de Chagall". Vaut largement le détour. Une expo sur Yvette Cauquil-Prince, ces tapisserie et ces peintures est aussi visible.

Local museum, mainly meant to show the tapestry of Chagall’s work, made by Yvette Cauquil-Prince, which is really beautiful, but the rest of the exhibition is rather limited.

It is as the ticket was combined with the Chapelle des Cordeliers. The Chagall is nice, the other part of the museum is not really inspiring.

Complément utile à la visite de la Chapelle des Cordeliers (entrée du musée comprise dans le prix du billet de visite de la Chapelle), le musée présente une belle tapisserie inspirée par le vitrail réalisé par Chagall pour le siège de l'ONU, et une très belle collection d'objets anciens retrouvés dans les environs de Sarrebourg.
