‪Visited on a hot day in July, the paddling pool was dry and empty, 2 disappointing children, no info on website.‬

‪Bowie bandstand the Best!‬

‪Okay, so it was my 58th birthday and D offered to drive us out to the Bowie Bandstand. We took the dog, too (of course). We drove all the way from Putney, but found ample local parking spaces. The park itself is really nice, much larger than I expected. Loads of areas for families with kids. So onto the bandstand...PLEASE someone launch another campaign to help this get restored! It's a lovely piece of architecture, but is fading. Maybe an online campaign to raise money? I would donate. As a Bowie fan of over 45 years, this location means a lot to me. And to many other Bowie-philes too. It looks a little sad, but only because it needs a facelift. Still a wonderful visit - but I can close my eyes and picture it restored and glowing!‬

‪Lovely local park with a fenced playground for the kids. Splash pool available in hot weather. A lot of green open space and tennis courts. Great for kids to run around and ride the bikes/scooters.‬

‪Lovely open space‬

‪We went here for a open festival for David Bowie by the bandstand. whilst there we went around the park area, lots of lovely things for the kids to play on and a lovely paddling area for them to play in. would love to come back up here and bring a picnic its so nice, Kids loved running around on the open green area.‬

‪great open spaces for kids to play football and enjoy the playground‬

‪Lovely wide open spaces, and well maintained grass areas. Paddling pool is a huge bonus on hot days.
Great fr football practice, learning to ride a bike (plenty of flat footpaths), and scooter paths.‬

‪Great park for playing games in, going for a walk or taking the kids t the play area which is fenced in, no dogs allowed and plenty to keep them occupied. Paddling pool which they fill up in the summer months is great. Cafe too for thos snacks and hot drinks‬

‪My 2 year old really loved it here. Lots to do, especially the open water fountain in the summer. It has all you’d expect from a recreational ground. It’s conveniently located near shops and well connected to transport. Will definitely be frequenting this place over the coming summer. Hoping we have another scorcher. ‬
