We booked a Grand Prix - so had a 20 minute qualifying and then, with grid positions earned in qualifying, had a 20 minute race.
Was really fun, we were a group of 11 mainly 20's - and all fairly similar ability so it was an exciting race.
Would highly recommend - a great activity for a group of friends or family.

All the black go carts were rubbish, I had to waste 5 of my 15 minutes waiting for a replacement cart, really bad. Wont be coming here again in those carts for sure, old, rattling, slow and very rigged track overall.

The karts are quite fast and handle well! The track is also really fun to drive on with a couple of interesting bends and places to sped up on!
Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay here.
Only qualm I have is that price-wise, this track is definitely on the most expensive side in comparison to the other nearby tracks, charging £50 for 2 x 15 races, whereas other tracks I’ve seen for £39-40 so a bit cheaper per person.

I took 5 14-year-olds to the track. Their smiles said it all. Great staff they really worked hard to keep it safe and friendly.
Though I am sure they have been asked every question thousands of times. Every interaction was helpful and friendly.

I went with my teenage daughter, and we were a bit apprehensive as neither of us had been karting before. Fortunately, everything was very professionally run, with a safety briefing video before we got started, and friendly marshalls.
The track itself was great fun, with a nice long straight and some challenging corners.
The reception staff were really friendly too. A great afternoon out, can't wait to go back.

My son and a few friends went go-karting and had a brilliant time. Although there are of course extra measures in place for covid, as they were outside all the time it didn’t impact their fun at all. It all felt quite “normal”. A great treat after a grotty year. Thank you

Great idea for a treat. My husband took our Grandson who is 15, they both had a great time as we did watching them. Its quite basic but drinks are available

My grandsons (10 and 12 years old) loved their racing experience at Surbiton Raceway, having recently become interested in Formula One.
We went back for two visits in a week and thoroughly enjoyed it.
A special mention to Nick who was very helpful, courteous and professional, ensuring we had a fabulous time.

We visited on a quiet day with my 11 year old son. Surbiton Raceway consists of 3 tracks: Bambino for ages 4-6, Junior Cadet for ages 6-11 and the Professional Race Track. As my son had no experience of carting, we were advised to try the Junior Cadet track. It cost £27 for 30 mins (with a short break in the middle.) We were shown a brief safety video and then provided with all the equipment needed: gloves, balaclava, helmet and racing suit.
The staff were friendly and patient with my son. I was really impressed with how welcome we were made and my son absolutely loved his time on the track.
The carts are great fun - highly recommended. The professional track looks excellent for adults/ older kids too.

The circuit is basic, with very little run off and a few scary drop offs on the edge of track that could do with repair.
The facilities are very basic (mostly portacabins) and its shame they don't allocate names to the timing sheets.
It's great value for money if you want to race some karts about with friends but if you want a top karting experience stick to Daytona at Sandown Park in Esher.
Nice enough people and a good team of staff. The experience on the whole was a good one, but you get what you pay for with karting.
We went as a stag party and they provide a pink race suit for the stag. I think they could really improve the facility for not a huge investment, and if it was tidied up a bit would definitely go back.
