Fantastic day exploring Featherdale Wildlife Park and Blue Mountains. Rocky was flexible in accommodating our specific needs and was a wealth of knowledge. A very enjoyable day. Highly recommend.

The whole day was amazing, and Rocky was a fantastic guide. We were jetlagged from arrival and the day in the outdoors was just what we needed. The Featherdale zoo stop started the day with an up close to Australian wildlife. Then into the mountains, the wonderful scenery and history. Highly recommend this tour. It started our Australian journey in a high note.

What an amazing tour, starting out with Lincoln's Rock we then moved on to the viewpoint for the 3 sisters; this we followed up with all the rides at Scenic World after a brief opportunity to walk along a little of the Prince Henry Cliff Walk and view the falls.
Our amazing guide then took us to get some pies in from the Bakehouse in Leura and found us a spot to picnic, he even supplied a beer!
We finished our day feeding roos and seeing the Koala's and other animals at Featherdale Park. All round we couldn't recommend this tour more!

My 21 year old son and his friend and I went on this highly recommended Wine tasting to Hunter Valley. There were 9 of us in the nice air conditioned minivan . Colin was our guide. It was a rainy day in Sydney and was rainy as well in the Hunter Valley. Despite the inclement weather, we had a fantastic time. Colin was an excellent tour guide. He was so knowledgeable, easy to talk to and very enthusiastic. He really ensured that we all would enjoy the trip. There were some people in our group that did not speak English and I believe they still had a wonderful time as well. Our first stop was at the Hunter Wine Lab and we tasted many many wines with Nathan as our wine guide. He is also the owner and vintner there. He even let us try some beers that he brews there as well. This was definitely the best stop according to my party. We then went to McCaffrey's Estate and had another set of excellent wines and fantastic fantastic cheese selections to accompany the wine. Mel was our host and she was great. At this point, I am a bit hazy/drunk but I think we hit one more winery which was excellent and then an excellent lunch of pizza and salad. I don't remember which order we did these in because I was feeling pretty good. Our last stop was at a distillery that specializes in flavored gin vodka and liquor that glitters. Our server was not very personable however I suspect that he was not thrilled with our behavior. The trip is a long one. We left promptly at 725am and returned around 7 pm. It is about 2.5 hours to the Hunter Valley. However I would highly recommend this for anyone who has a day to kill and likes good food and wine. We even got to see the wild kangaroos that are in the valley in abundance. Definitely go on this trip. You will have a blast.

Rocky was a great tour guide. The private tour option worked out for us as 2 couples. He was a wealth of information, enthusiastic, and always cheerful. We had an awesome day!

Our guide contacted us the day before our trip to say that the weather forecast for our trip meant we'd probably have a really poor sunset experience. That was the beginning of a really good tour where our guide was fully committed to providing the best possible experience. Everything changed. we went to the Wildlife park in the morning. It was bright and sunny, quiet and the animals were very active. It was amazing. Then we drove to the Blue Mountains. While the weather was cool and damp, we had some great views. Had we gone in the evening it would have been miserable. So, before we even started up until we were dropped off at our accommodation our guide was first rate and our experience everything we could have hoped for. On our own the next day he mapped out a plan for the day which was truly great. Would highly recommend

Raki put on an amazing day for us. I booked this tour last minute with teenagers and an elderly mother in tow. He custom built our day including carrying a chair for my mom when she couldn’t walk and charging phones as they died. He knew every hidden gem and all angels for the perfect photos. I can not say enough about this wonderful day. His van was immaculate and had still and sparkling water for our ride. I would highly recommend this tour to start your trip or if you only have one day as we did. We feel like we have seen all the highlights of Sydney and much more. We are flying out with happy hearts.

Had a great day seeing the stunning views of the Blue Mountains from the different lookouts. The day started at Featherdale which was amazing. There was more interaction with the lovely animals than I expected. This was a private tour so it was completely at my own pace. For lunch I chose to get something from a bakery and have a picnic at one of the lookouts which was so relaxing. A memorable day!

Raki was a fantastic guide. Knowledgeable, very friendly and very accommodating.
Learnt a lot about the history of some of the vineyards, their signature wines and even tried to show us some wild kangaroos ( who unfortunately were too shy to appear).
Even made a detour to an oyster farm for some fresh oysters on the way back!

Sydney Top Tours arranged an absolutely inspiring and memorable customized tour for us. We journeyed with an engaging Aboriginal guide through an ancient forest in the Blue Mountains. He shared his vast knowledge of the many plants, trees, flora and fauna. The forest and gullies were breathtakingly beautiful - we experienced waterfalls, naturally sculpted sandstone rock formations, centuries old trees, colourful birds...and so much more. This is a perfect tour for those who love to experience and connect with nature.

Are the only available dates for the Featherdale tour on Saturdays and Sundays??

Hi Bob, Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Kangaroo and Koala experience. We offer this half-day tour only on Saturdays and Sunday because all our vehicles are contracted on weekdays for different tours. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
When I try to check availability for the Kangaroo and Koala experience at Featherdale, the dates that show up to select are all Saturdays and Sundays. We were hoping to book for April 6, a Monday. Are Saturdays and Sundays the only options?
