This is a great way to see the many animals of Australia. Staff are very friendly and make sure you get the most out of your experience. It was a relaxing and informative atmosphere and well maintained.

A good place to bring the kids. They enjoyed the animals. Tickets are a bit on higher side, but the farm seems to be popular with families

We arrived at Calmsley Hill City Farm after hearing of it from our local friend. It got very rainy when we arrived, but the visit was still worth it. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and gave very nice explanations of the farm animals (such as ferrets, mice, rabbits, chicken and goats). The kids were allowed to tap the animals and hold the chicks, whilst the staff at the farm were very careful supervising everything. Feeding the animals was fun, as well as the tractor ride in the rain! I would recommend a visit to Calmsley Hill City Farm, particularly for young children.

Our first visit and what an endearing one it was. Big thanks to Mikayla for engaging the kids really well during the various shows / demonstration (eg stockwhip, cow milk, interactive petting session in the nursery where she brought out the chick, ferret and duckling for the kids). Lady at koala bear exhibit is very knowledgeable and I learnt a lot even though this isn’t my first visit to a koala exhibition.
Kids had fun at the tractor ride which went round the farm for about 10mins. There were at least 3 other groups of pre-schoolers on their field trips so they put in more rides so that everyone had a ride.

Kids loved our day at the farm.
Lots of fantastic things to do with the kids very hands on experiences such as milking the cows feeding the cows goats lambs and horse.
The cafe doesn’t isn’t a place we buy from because of the very unhealthy food and drink options.
We love coming here did the kids a great day to spend the day.

Visited the farm during school holidays. Kids absolutely loved it. They enjoyed patting and feeding all the animals. Grounds are lovely with plenty of picnic areas. Highlights were the tractor ride, dog show and sheep shearing. All staff were nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great place to take the kiddies for hands in animal experience. Our 2 year old had a ball visiting all the different animals. Pram friendly & there are some nice shady places to sit down for a picnic. What I really liked was the way it was presented. The animals looked happy & healthy, enclosures clean & tidy. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Lovely spot around 1 hr from Sydney, lots of live shows, we loved the kelpie demo! Plus selection of animals to feed, range of really difference experiences for kids growing up in the city. Only advice would be to take own food as there are long queues for the cafe and the food selection is pretty limited to all things fried.

Beautiful farm , beautiful day to spend with the family ,
*only problem is the receptionist!! Catherine and samantha are Very rude and not polite , said some unnecessary words . Doesnt help when your just enquiring and they are just being angry and rude about it ,it's your job over the phone to be most helpful polite and patient. If your unhappy there , leave the job. Customers should be greeted with kindness. The person to talk to is only leonie , definitely the only friendly one to talk too .

It was a great fun experience and kids love it as well as us adults. Just missed the shows due to COVID but will definitely be back once all goes back to normal. Close encounter with the farm animals, very nice relaxing view, the staff are friendly and lots of picnic tables to use.

From the CBD of the Sydney you are looking at about 45 min or if you where to stay at a hotel in eastern creek or liverpool it's about 15min or Parramatta is about 30mins.

By Car / taxi it will take a hour by public transport maybe 1.5hrs perhaps more depending on connections. Take a train to Fairfield station and then the 808 bus to the farm, get off at the Darling street stop which is right at the front gate of the farm.

Yes you can feed the Kangaroos but not the Wombats and Koalas as they on a special diet. We also have a huge range of other animals you can feed including, Lambs, goats, ponies and our camel to names a few.
