The shipping container revolutionised the way the world moves product around. This temporary installation provides visitors with not only the history but the significance around this simple item. Visit this site before it is no longer available.

This temporary installation has been set up near the Wagga Wagga Visitor Information Centre. It consists of a series of shipping containers which have been converted into displays which explore the many ways in which shipping containers contribute to the economy. The exhibition is open daily from 10am. They were a bit late in opening the exhibition on the day I was there but I asked about it at the Visitor’s Centre and they were able to contact someone to come and open it up. When it’s not open you can still peer into the containers from the outside and see most of the exhibition.
It’s free to enter and it is in Wagga Wagga from 2 February 2019 – 5 May 2019.
