Disappointing and poor value for money. The tour guide did not provide much more than the names of stall holders and how long they'd been in the market. Samples consisted of tiny portions such as a minute piece of cheese, an apple, a strawberry dipped in chocolate, a tiny bit of honey syrup on a teaspoon, a very small muffin. It would have been good to learn about the providence of the food, how they produce it etc. The market is worth visiting, but much better to make your own way around the market and ask stall holders for a sample of produce. Breakfast provided would cost you around $15 if you weren't part of the tour - and you wouldn't be sitting for an hour waiting for the tour to start. Our experience was sadly not great, and we certainly were not offered an over abundance of food! Definitely not worth $130. Would not recommend.

I did not do this trip! I made a mistake in my booking online. I tried by phone, text and email to reschedule the booking. I was unable to reach a human being.
I am hoping that there is a human somewhere who will read this and offer to reschedule for the correct time.

This was our second trip to Adelaide and we wanted our son to experience the Adelaide Markets. We weren't disappointed and spent a wonderful morning with Bronny who shared her extensive knowledge of the markets, their history and the various producers and their wares. As a family of three we shared the tour with a couple from Canada which of course added to the fun. I would highly recommend this guided tour. With the added knowledge gained it makes returning to them an even greater pleasure. Once again thank you for an amazing morning.

Amazing! Learned an incredible amount about the market’s history. Discovered stalls we wanted to revisit to gift shop. Take the tour and get to know the vendors, their backgrounds, their products, and what makes this market so incredible.

Wonderful way to spend 90 minutes wandering around this food & provision market. We learnt a lot from our guide Bronny that you would miss just visiting on your own. Plus you get to try lots of samples only available because you are on a tour. We also got a free coffee when we finished. So well worth the price.

Enjoyable breakfast to start and then well guided and informative tour by our guide Tony!! Nice lot of samples as well.

For those who love food and history this tour is fantastic. We had been to the Adelaide Central Market earlier in the day just to find the meeting point and see what was there. In the evening we went back and met Cheryl who took us to select venues and explained not only the food and its origins in detail but also the history of the markets and the collaboration between the different operators there. This was one of the best tours we've done and we had the tour to ourselves so felt very lucky. In fact it was so good we plan on doing it again with our son when next in Adelaide. Thank you so much for such a fantastic evening.

Visited the Central Market Tour on a short trip to Adelaide, and couldn't recommended it more - a few hours very well spent. The tour provided an opportunity to taste a multitude of different foods and drinks from stores across the market. It truly gives you a taste of (nearly) everything!
The host Cheryl, what can I say. What a great woman and even better tour guide. Could not have wished for a better host of this tour, she had a wealth of information to share about the market itself and all of the stores in the market. It was Cheryl who really made this tour a great value for money. Lovely to meet you!

We are locals but had not been to the market for ages. This tour reminded us what we were missing! Cheryl was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting.

We wondered whether to go on this tour which sounds amazing because we are both vegetarian and would only be able to sample some foods with reassurance they are fully vegetarian. It sounds a really good tour, so let us know what you think. It would be around 13 Feb we wanted to come on the tour

Yes the guide and stall holders are very aware of dietary requirements. Make sure you tell them when you book. Perhaps book a straight tour or the lunch tour as you have a wider range of choices than breakfast at Lucia’s 3 or 4 veg options. Croissant was yum though!
