‪A personalized adventure for a Tasmanian Experience‬

‪Eye See Tours run the best tour business in Tasmania hands down! We booked with Judy for 2 days (we had a short 3 day stay in Tasmania) and it was an experience of a lifetime! Judy is so knowledgeable about the culture, history, and hot spots in Taz! It really was a personalized, diverse experience for us. We had a 1/2 day unbooked which she recommended checking out the Salamanca Market in Hobart. Lovely local crafts, food, art, and atmosphere! Our 2 days with Judy were fantastic - we went to Freycinet National Park - gorgeous walks, Wineglass Bay, the Hazards, spectacular vistas everywhere! We had a scrumptious lunch enjoying a deserted beach with Judy's homemade lunch - all organic and homegrown deliciousness! We also popped into Kate’s Berry Farm - a great Judy discovery for _the most_ delectable treats! The next day we were off to the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary which was so much fun - our tour guide there - a friend of Judy's - gave us a close, personal look at the animals and an experience that I'll always remember. The work they do with the animals and the care and attention that is given in their work really shows. Then onto Mount Field National Park (waterfalls and walks are breath-taking). Judy again raised the bar on a delectable lunch in an off the beaten path picnic area that we had to ourselves and could explore the beachside area.

Judy is truly gifted and experienced in guiding through destinations pinpointing what you are interested in and bringing what you imagined your adventures to be to fruition! Tazmania is a gem to be explored as Judy promotes: See Tazmania as a guest, not just a tourist. And that is what she graciously delivers!‬

Thank you for your lovely review. I loved our time together and 2 days is definitely too short. We had a very special private tour with the animals. It is such a highlight for visitors. Our very secluded spot for lunch at Freycinet is always something to remember. The turquoise water and isolation is truly magical, even for me who has been there many times. It is always lovely to share my island with my wonderful guests. I can't wait until next time we can do some more exploring together.

‪Incredible Day in Port Arthur!!!!!‬

‪I pre-booked with Judy, the owner of Eye See Tours, several months before our cruise ship docked in Port Arthur. She responded to all my emails immediately and was extremely helpful in organizing the day tour. There were 8 of us in total and by the end of the day we all were great friends! Judy was the best guide !! She had a minivan and was the driver. We saw all the sights that I asked for along with extras....we had as much time as we wanted at all stops, Judy even took photos of all of us whenever we asked, and her knowledge of Port Arthur and the Penal Colony was off the charts!!!! Judy even supplied a home cooked lunch for all of us that was as fresh and delicious as she is!!! An incredible 7-8 hour tour of a beautiful area of Tasmania, with unreal scenic sights, rock formations, overlooks, penal colony ...all visited in great detail. Hats off to Judy for a remarkable and unforgettable day! I highly recommend Eye See Tours for all visitors to Tasmania.‬

We had a fantastic day together. It is wonderful when people start the day as strangers and end up being friends. The Scenery in the Tasman Peninsula area is incredible. Scenery, food and history in one day is not bad for a short shore visit. It was truly a great day. Thank you for making it so special.

‪Fantastic Personalized Tour‬

‪We had a lovely day with Judy as our guide. Her commentary is interesting and on point. She made everything super easy for us including dropping us off at the top of the walk at Mount Fields so we could take the easier walk down as opposed to walking up. Lunch was in a lovely park where we picnicked with some meats and bread that we could make a sandwich with along with a slaw that could be used as dressing and salad that included some items direct from her garden. She even notes and accommodates food preferences and allergies. We managed to see everything on our list that we wanted to see and then someone mentioned a local winery. Judy’s flexibility allowed them to run in and have a quick taste and purchase a bottle to take home with them. Our tour was organized by a member of Cruise Critic, and while I mainly joined because I wanted to see the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, I was enchanted by every aspect of the day and incredibly glad that I didn’t limit our day to only the sanctuary. Despite my head cold combined with an allergy to eucalyptus trees that had me stuffy and not feeling that great, I had still had a great time and was sad to see the day end.‬

It is unfortunate that you were unwell on the tour but I am so glad you had a wonderful day. Most people prefer to walk down hills instead of up, so beginning the walk at the top is the only option. You get to enjoy the tall trees then the waterfalls. Small groups allow for a little flexibility where the big bus groups cannot factor additional activities in the shore time. The animals are always a favorite for international visitors. It was a lovely day.

‪Two Terrific Days in Tasmania‬

‪We toured with Judy in both Port Arthur and Hobart from our cruise ship, and had a great time both days. The first day we had one van, and the second day there were two from her company. I appreciated that we did not run the second day as one large group. Brava for that!

I appreciated that the days were more about the sights than the shopping. We got the chance to see most of the iconic Australian wildlife at a rescue, as well as a pademelon in the wild. The two lunches were excellent, with homemade preserves, sauces and breads.

Judy is very quick at communications and exceptionally well organized. I don't think you would do any better on an excursion than in her capable hands.‬

The group that we had for the two days of touring were fantastic which always makes for fun days. Both days were so different. It was great that the group were able to see a wild native pademelon (type of kangaroo). This is not something you see all the time as they are basically nocturnal. I am glad you enjoyed the lunches. I don't believe in running two tours just one behind the other. That is not what you "signed up for". Each tour is personalised for the enjoyment of our guests. If you wanted to do that type of touring you would have done one of the generic cruise ship tours. It was a pleasure to be part of your visit to Tasmania.

‪Judy has created a fantastic tour company. Her communications are prompt and clear. Her organizational skills are on point. Everything ran flawlessly. With too many for one van, Judy entrusted us to her friend and colleague, Andy. A terrific guide with plenty of local information and kindly demeanor. We had a great day. Flexibility was included so those of us who wanted to hike a bit farther were allowed to do this, and other who wanted to stop for wine and chocolates were also given that option. The visit to Bonorong was the highlight. Close encounters with the large group of kangaroos was priceless. Of note, Judy provides a wonderful picnic lunch, and she provided separate options for me as a vegan. Really above and beyond. And delicious, too. Thanks Judy!‬

It was my pleasure to be able to offer a second tour on this particular day. Andy is fantastic and he is a delight to call a friend and colleague. Smaller groups always allow for more flexibility which is something we pride ourselves on. The animals are a highlight for most guests. We certainly do have some very unusual animals in Australia and at the wildlife sanctuary you get to see them up close. I am glad you enjoyed your lunch and I am happy to be able to provide a lunch that is suitable for all my guests dietary requirements.

‪A tour that eceeded every expectation‬

‪My partner and I had a wonderful day around the east coast.
Judy has exceptional knowledge of the area and surroundings. Her professionalism coupled with her friendly nature made us feel welcomed and comfortable from start to finish.

We can not recommend Judy and her wonderful personalised tours enough. Truly was personalised for us.

We were even lucky enough to see a wombat !

‪Four of us travelling together booked with Judy and Eye See Personalized Private tours. There was 10 of us in the bus and we had a great time. Judy is a very knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing guide. She was able to provide answers to every question and was an excellent driver. You could tell how much she likes her "job". I liked how she wanted to know about each and everyone of us too. I gobbled up her homemade beets and coleslaw and chocolate and cake. The tea was hot and delicious. Judy was conscious of our timing as we were on a cruise ship and made sure we arrived back in good time. The scenery was spectacular. What a great opportunity we had to feed the kangaroos and walk among them. We would definitely recommend Judy. Theresa & Frank‬

‪We booked Judy based on the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor, and we were absolutely not disappointed. Judy deserves her excellent rating and much more.

Judy organized for us a four day personal tour with all the major attractions around Hobart. Everything was efficiently organized via email in the few weeks before we arrived.

We could feel throughout these four days how detailed Judy is, from the detailed itinerary she organized, the clean and spacious vehicle she uses, the lovely lunch she prepared for us every single day, finding the right photo stops for us with stunning views, and down to a gift for all of us at the end of the last day. Every day was carefully planned from her side to maximize our Tasmanian experience and we could feel all along that we were treated more like friends than customers. She also gladly recommended some good restaurants for us for the evening. Her knowledge about Tasmania is extensive, and one can feel the passion with which she explains all the details about this great part of Australia.

We fully recommend Judy for any tours in Tasmania. We just did tours out of Hobart, but she also arranges tours all over the island with overnights in different places.

Thank you Judy for the memorable experience !‬

I loved every minute with you and your family. It was definitely like traveling with friends. I love doing what I do in Tasmania but it is only possible when I have fantastic guests. I feel as though we parted as family. Our 4 days together vanished in a flash. I hope you enjoy the recipes that will be arriving home shortly. ‪Great Personal Tour of Hobart Area‬

‪We were on a cruise recently and booked Eye See Personalized Tours, along with a few other couples, for a small group tour. Judy met us at the cruise ship dock and took us on a great tour. We went to one of her favorite rain forest locations, with a informative and interesting narrative along the way. It was beautiful. We enjoyed a delicious lunch Judy made, including vegetables from her own garden, then on to time in Richmond and a local wildlife park, which is very important for the preservation of animals under threat from the fires on the mainland. Judy is personable, knowledgeable, and fun. Everyone on the tour really enjoyed the day and spending it with Judy.‬

The tour to the rain forest, Richmond and the wildlife sanctuary is always very popular as it offers a little bit of variety for cruise ship passengers who are on a very tight time frame. It was a great group and I really enjoyed being part of your day.

‪This was our first trip to Hobart and we wanted to visit Freycinet, Port Arthur and Mount Wellington .
Judy was an amazing guide, super friendly, full of information... not just basic facts but interesting and funny trivia as well.
Our tours were very well organised,and everything appeared effortless and easy due to Judy’s hard work and long standing relationships with staff at the tourist sites and prep work behind the scenes.
She supplied great lunches, tea / coffee, good conversation and very comfortable travelling conditions.
We couldn’t recommend her more highly!
Thanks Judy, we loved every minute of our tours .‬
