Went in Feb for my first AFL game. Very impressive stadium, great access, good toilets, good logistics lighting and sound

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour led by Ian - who did a wonderful walk and talk through the stadium. Often we were slowing up the group behind due to Ian’s Innate knowledge and enthusiasm to share much with our group. Followed up the next day with an evening at AFL game. All round a brilliant experience. BRAVO.

Was fantastic! Had a great volunteer tour leader. Only downfall was we wish it went for longer and wish it wasn’t so rushed.

Great to see the stadium where several major cricket & AFL games are played. Very small tour done by volunteer on the grounds - relaxed and informative, reasonably priced.

With three of my teenage boys this was a huge highlight of our recent roadtrip. The place is vast and spectacular. Getting to see the inner rooms where all the famous have walked and sat was brilliant and getting to stand on the hallowed grass and look up at the surrounding grandstands was such a priviledge.
The tour guide unfortunately spoke so quietly we hardly heard a word she spoke except when she was talking about which food places were popular and being a member herself all the priviledges she gets. It would have been nice to be shown around by someone passionate about the place and able to communicate that.
The museum was very interesting but also extremely poignant watching the Shane Warne hologram presentation. Undoubtedly done prior to his untimely death we felt as though we had been in the same room as him whilst he talked to us.
Getting into the Long Room and the press box was incredible. So many people were walking past to go to the Rod Laver arena next door for the Australian Open. They don't know what they missed walking past the best stadium in the world - the one and only MCG.

A unique experience that permits access to all the behind the scenes areas of the MCG(provided no events are taking place).

Bought my partner tickets to the Boxing Day test, which he hadn’t attended before for Chrissy present!
Fantastic seats, service.
3rd & 4th day we used interstate cricket membership to attend the members section.
Staff were amazing, couldn’t be more helpful & eager to show us Inter - staters their stadium. And what a precinct it is.
Far better than ours - but we won’t tell the Vics!!😉

Good experience could have been improved by a guide who was a little easier to understand. Saw every important parts of the ground really interesting in the members part of the ground

We just visited today and I was verbally abused by the security guard on the door to the entrance. Unacceptable and I will be making an official complaint.

Hi, I have tickets for the semi AFL final between the pies and dockers this Saturday night, I could only get tickets in Q section ponsford stand. Can I use the lifts to get up there please as I get anxious on steps.

Will tours operate in May to September, COVID permitting of course. I would like to bring a Probus group to visit. they love their lunches too, any chance of a feed?

I am sorry for the delayed response. I am unable to confirm and not permitted to include a weblink. However if you go to the MCG website you will be able to enquire and book hospitality and catering online. I recommend arranging this in advance if your events are from May-September. All The Best.

Following advice from the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) regarding the global COVID-19 pandemic, otherwise known as Coronavirus, the MCG Tours and Australian Sports Museum will not operate from Tuesday the 17th of March.
The decision comes after the Government and health authorities recommended a ban on mass gatherings for the interim period, beginning on Monday the 16th of March to help slow the spread of the virus. The safety and wellbeing of our community remains our top priority as we take this step to ensure we continue to do all we can to protect our visitors, staff and volunteers during these unprecedented and challenging times.
Due to the rapidly changing situation we will continue to be providing regular updates on our website and across our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter social channels.

My dad and I are going for the India vs England World T20 match on 1 November this year. I wanted to know how good the view is from P16 Row B (Level 2A of the ground to make it more understandable). The seats are at the Great Southern Stand near the Don Bradman statue

I got a great view from the Great Southern Stand end from all levels I visited. P16 will be near to looking straight down the wicket. With a white ball you’ll get a terrific view.
