Lots of fun - learnt a lot about the area. Great way to experience what the area has to offer. Matt was great - very informative and enjoyable to listen to.

We had a great time learning about Rotorua and on the lakes. The guide had a lot of information and delivered it with a lot of wit. I’d do this tour again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Rotorua Duck Tour. Very cool WWII amphibian vehicle. Great selection of themed music was played along with a great tour guide driver entertaining us who was very knowledgeable about all aspects of Rotorua City, Maori History and of the 2 lakes. I would highly recommend this Tour.

I really enjoyed the scenery, the tranquil lakes, and the novelty of going on an amphibian WW11 truck/boat, driving off the road, straight into the lakes!!! Our tour guide, Josh was extremely knowledgeable, giving us a rundown of the history of the lakes, area and wildlife. Josh was very entertaining and had us in fits of laughter in between telling us of local lore and history. The day we went was a bit gloomy, with a bit of rain, but it did not deter, in any way, the amazing tour we did. Photography opportunities were plentiful and amazing!! Plus there was the extra bonus of seeing the Maori rock paintings!
I HIGHLY recommend Rotorua Duck Tours!!!

I’m a NZ’er who has visited Rotorua countless times over the years. This is the first time I have done the Duck Boat tour and thought it fabulous. Our guide was friendly, entertaining and gave a humorous and informative commentary full of interesting history and facts. Well recommended.

The tour was very good, especially the amphibious bits in the two lakes Tikitapu & Okareka. Lots of very interesting history and good technical stuff about the DUKW itself. Very good indeed. Only negative bit was my wife & I found the commentary way too loud.

is it possible for disabled people in wheelchair to go on the duckbus

Hello
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Duck. No we do not have wheel chair access on the Duck. In the past we have had people that have been in wheel chairs participate in the tour by leaving the wheel chair at our head quarters and we assisted them on the Duck. As long as people don't mind being assisted then we are happy to assist.

Hi there, we have in the past been able to assist people on board the duck who have been wheel chair bound. We will have a driver there to assist as well if need be. We are able to leave the wheel chair at the departure point in a secure location that can be collected on return. Hope this answers your question.
