Nice jewellery store but know way of getting in contact with them over a laybuy .Do not answer emails or phone calls

I stumbled upon Rata when walking through the mall and from the outside it looked like another boutique NZ inspired jewelry store with unaffordable high prices but after looking a bit closer I was incredibly impressed. There were so many beautiful, unique pieces that were actually cheaper than most chain stores. I fell in love with a beautiful feather pendant and the owner was more than obliging for me to buy the pendant as I had a favourite chain at home I wanted to put it on. I will totally be going back whenever I'm in town to check out their latest designs :) Thank you guys!

Every time I visit Dunedin I have to go to this shop! The jewellery is just a bit different from the usual stuff. I have quite a number of pieces now! Looking forward to some new items from the Palas range. Great work!

Rata has a great collection of pieces to suit many tastes. Helpful staff can help you find something to take home or as a gift. Some modern pieces are quite unique.

Great place to find some beautiful jewellery from New Zealand designers. Well priced and lovely customer service. A must visit while in Dunedin.

My girlfriend and I just moved to Dunedin from Germany for our studies and we were checking out the city centre.
Of course we had to go to a juwellery shop as my girlfriend wanted a new necklace as I promised her to get one.
She found "her" place at Rata and bought more than just a new necklace, because she liked almost everything in the shop and the prices are quite fair.
So we ended up with two necklaces and two pendants for her.
And it might not be the last time she will spend her money over there (and my money as well...)
Very nice staff, very helpful! Nice cute shop and very good price/quality ratio. Recommended in all points!
