After a fantastic dinner at Scratchleys it was great to be able to take a walk along the harbour foreshore. While most of the wharves are now gone from the area there are historical markers letting you know about the areas working port past. Well maintained and very well lit for a night time walk.

今現在のニューキャッスルの鉄道終着駅Newcastle Interchange駅からニューキャッスル港やハンター川河口にかけて作られた遊歩道です。
まさにリゾート地にいるような感じの風景で対岸の工業地帯や幅広いハンター川を眺めてk理解に散策することが出来ます。

Visited on Saturday 16th February. We came across this wharf as we went for a walk along the rivers edge.

The walk along the foreshore is quite nice. You can walk all the way from the marina to the light house and it is all flat. This makes it quite accessible for those that are limited by hills.

This is a historically important spot in Newcastle, although most of it is now gone. This was the place of the first wharf, where coal was exported and ships unloaded cargo.
Now it's a great spot to relax, have a nice walk and take in the views of Nobby's Headland, Stockton Beach and the Harbor.

A glorious autumn day - a stroll in the sun along the well thought out broad walk.
Life does not get much better - and its free
Great views up and down the river and across to Stockton. If you get tired and need to rest you feet there are plenty of benches.
Lot of young families and dog walkers give the area a happy energetic vibe.

Nice spot to walk along the waterfront, great views out over the harbour and river and over towards stockton. The whole foreshore area is good to explore and there are nice parks behind the wharf too.

The Family and I went for a walk on the Wharf, it was beautiful, clean and entertaining. We stumbled on a Tram tour and that was the cherry on top.

Start of a long walking path in Newcastle. Locals come here and surrounding area to sit in the shade, sun and look over the harbour. It has views and is a good recreational area for locals to meet up.
