私的には、人生でお会いすることのないHigh gradeの人々の町って所です。たまたまかもしれませんが、日本人には一日中アジア人には会う事はありませんでした。少し気後れする感じを覚えました。でも是非行って欲しい場所です。凄いですよ☝️😁

A very nice resort, lovely well maintained grounds and very pleasant staff. The rooms are getting a bit tired in places, however they are still very nice and roomy with great outlook from the balconies. Beds comfortable, excellent sized bathrooms and the walk in robe was brilliant.
The large man made lagoon beach pool was a huge success, although needed a big scrub - quite a bit of dark slime noticed in several areas in the middle and the chlorine stung your eyes quite badly if you opened them underwater. Good having another pool option available as well though.
Food options good.
Easy walking distance to the marina and village.
Free ranging kangaroos were great, children loved them.
We will most certainly be back

The staff at this hotel were first rate and no request was any problem .The rooms are nice and buffet breakfast was great .There is a lagoon pool and other pool which they heat in colder months.Free access to Country Club for fitness and bar and restaurants on site.Just a short walk to marina and shopping,cafes etc.Short drive to theme parks or lol by the pool

We’ve stayed here many times over the years - always enjoyed it, even if a bit corporate. Rooms are now feeling a bit of age but still good. Beware - don’t book early as they charge silly prices. We had a group of 16 playing golf for several days - big earner for this hotel but not uncommon. The Wed - Sun cost worked out at $600 per night not including golf. Expensive, but not outrageous - or so we thought. Bar closed unannounced on Friday evening at 10pm, with several tables not happy and more people arriving back from dinner in the village (as always) wanting just to sit and relax over a nightcap before bed. NOT AT THIS ‘;RESORT’
Then the bar tender comes over to confront one of our guests - totally unprofessional. Really? Don’t call yourself ‘Intercontinental’ ‘Resort’ and charge people $600-800 per night for rubbish service and limited facilities.
We are spending over $45k at this’ resort’ on this trip and wont be back next time - sorry - not good enough!!
Then the bar tender comes over to confront one of our guests - totally unprofessional. Really? Don’t call yourself ‘Intercontinental’ ‘Resort’ and charge people $600-800 per night for rubbish service and limited facilities.

Need to turn down the volume of 30 mins. of introduction of big screen. Way Way too loud for children and oldies and went on and on, nearly walked out but pleased we didn't. Drinks expensive. When the show finally started it was excellent with a lot of interaction with the audience. Nice small theatre which allows this and a great atmosphere. Staff were all excellent. Given some free chocolates nice gesture except they melted in pocket. Four years ago when I saw the show I thought it was better with much less intro and not as loud and more on stage disappearing tricks.

Visited on Wednesday 2nd November. It was late morning and relatively quiet, I didn't mind that as I could have a wonder around looking at the numerous shops and check out the boats for sale at the marina.

It appears the Sanctuary Cove owners, Mulpha, are also the owners of the new Pablito's Mexican restaurant on the site vacated by Jonez excellent restaurant. If this is the best they can do, they should stay out of the restaurant business. Keen to try a new restaurant we called in for lunch last week. This is not a restaurant in the true sense of the world. It is a very ordinary fast food joint of the type you would find in any shopping centre. Even though it was well into the lunch hours advertised by this place, they were far from ready. That shows bad organisation to start with and means that the staff were paying more attention to putting out knives and forks than attending to the patrons already there and waiting to be served. The worst thing you can find in a restaurant is a grossly sticky table top surface. That should have been a sign, but we mentioned it to the waitress and she explained that it was a poor varnish surface. If that's the case, why invite criticism...just put a table cloth over it until you get it fixed. The music choice is appalling, whatever it is. The food was edible but mediocre. This is food presented by amateurs reading from a kitchen checklist. Nice try Mulpha, but stick to what you know, and that does not include running boat shows because the last one was a disaster, and we are still smarting over the rudeness of the security people they hired for the boat show traffic, which included a threat of prosecution (which we ignored and nothing happened anyway) and the illogical rules they tried (and failed) to implement about exhibitor access. Sanctuary Cove used to be good way back when, but not so worth visiting these days.

Not as buzzy (of course!) as the last time we were there during a boat show, but still a pleasant lunch stop or day trip if you're in southern Queensland. There are a number sensible eateries and the boats seem to get bigger all the time. Check out the old building and the man-made lagoon at the Intercontinetal if you're going for a stroll.

I have stayed here a number of times and I've never been disappointed.
Rooms have been updated, and they are lovely. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Service is impeccable, can't fault it.
I'll definitely be back.

We recently stayed with friends and two you g kids- probably our 5th time back here. Finally, we were delighted to see the hotel upgraded, our room was lovely, new furniture but aircon temperamental! Breakfast room looks great now, however hostess station still painful experience. Bar, nice upgrade but needs more sofas, relaxation areas.
Although delighted once we had checked in with room we headed to the pool. Seriously annoyed and pissed off the pool bar and restaurants had not been opened, nor, fitted out to open under covid regulation. There is absolutely no excuse for hotel staff to not inform families that these facilities are shut when you check in or book online.
Kids and grown ups need feeding- simple fact of life. We have experienced this before at the hotel but they tried ( failed) to deliver hot food from room service. The whole covid situation is going nowhere for a while so, reshuffle/ revamp the layout of the bar/poolside restaurant and use the massive grassed area as an extension to this- fence the whole damn thing in so that people/families can go in, sit down, eat and drink. I saw so many guests including ourselves go to the village and shop for lunch and grog and bring it back to the poolside. You are losing revenue and forcing guests to find alternatives that are against your policies. In summer this will get out of hand so get on top of it!
Also. For god sake tell people that the Buffett is closed and that there is restrictions on time slots for breakfast, we worked this out and booked a slot before we arrived by phone. I saw so many guests irate at the desk being told that there were only 10am slots for breakfast with 2-3 kids. Open both downstairs restaurants!
Also, the menu is just too fussy, nice try but failed. The scrambled egg tastes like granular powdered egg, absolutely disgusting and the heavily smoked bacon is so over powering! Not a great breakfast at all. Really dissatisfied.
Final whinge- the canapé offering on the bar is ridiculous!
