Took grandson to see movie. Tickets ridiculously expensive compared to other movie theatres. $16.50 for a 4 year old and $8 for a small
Popcorn.
Not sure why everything attached to the Bay has to have inflated prices.
Seating was bad with loads of empty rows yet everyone seated on top of each other. Bad Covid plan.
All in all, I’ll go somewhere else next time.

The G U film house at Glenelg is nice and peaceful. A bit of a wait for our tickets and that was in the priority queue. At the same time that you get your tickets you order drinks and food.
We ordered a cheese plate but it was a bit of a laugh as the cheese was virtually non existent but still tasty. Last time we had the food and drink delivered whilst watching the movie but times change, I suppose. We also had reclining chairs on our last visit this time they were standard chairs. Maybe the rooms are different.
Parking is for 4 hours which starts when you receive your tickets.

After paying $21 a ticket we expected recliner seats as a basic standard, however, we were disappointed to be in a cinema with old sit-up seats. We travelled an hour to get here as we were under the impression that this was more of an exclusive type of place, next time we will stay local to Reading cinema at Elizabeth, where the majority of seats are recliners and where it’s easier to book online and know what seats you’re getting.

We went to GU filmhouse Glenelg to see the old vintage Movie Zulu.
Just as the final attack of the Zulus occurred, some people walked in and stood in front of us.
They had come in for the next movie.
What lack of control from the movie theatre!!!
I will never go there again!

After going to the Marion Cinemas the day before wasn’t sure what to expect.
However this cinema complex is splendid well decorated, spotlessly clean and the leather seats in the cinema are spacious and very comfortable.
Staff were excellent and the online booking system is very easy through Event Cinemas. Can’t fault it.

嵐で観光が出来なかったため、映画でも見ようと訪問。
日本でいうチケット売り場とフード・ドリンク売り場が一体となったレジでチケットを購入しました。
そして、表示されているスクリーンに入って待っていたところ、「嵐で停電してしまったので、ロビーに出てきてくれ」とのこと。
同じような人達とロビーで待っていたら、バウチャー (映画の日時変更をするためのチケット) をもらいました。
旅行者の私は映画を次に見る予定はなく、数日後に再訪して、返金手続きをお願いしたら、マネージャーの方が快くその方法を説明してくれ、ちゃんと返金されました。
(大事なことは、レシートを捨てないことです。)
映画は見れなかったのですが、きちんと対応してもらえたので星四つです。

Convenient movie theatre in Glenelg with free parking. Very clean, still like new and very friendly staff.

Really good cinema with very comfortable leather seats. If you watch a movie you get 4 hours free parking that allowed us time to not only watch the movie but walk down Jetty Road and get some lunch. The car park is underneath the cinema.

Parking underneath and a lift up tp the cinema is great.Four hours free parking is a terrific incentive to go to the cinema!

GU Film House has comfortable seats. They are slightly wider than seats at other cinemas. It is still an event cinema so if you have a Cinebuzz card you can use it here. This place is my young grandson's favorite cinema.

Does it have disability access - no steps & designated seating.

Yes completely meet disabled access requirements with lift, sloping (rather than stairs) access to cinema screen and , I think, spaces for wheelchairs in the screening rooms too.
