We love walking on the beach, had Japanese very nice and stayed next to the marine walk in distance to everything

My wife and I took this trip right after the KI bush fires. It turns out the owner of this company had just expanded from Kangaroo Island to Adelaide, so by taking the trip we were able to have a great time and help out a local company that was very happy to have the business.
The boat is very comfortable and not like some tour boats where you feel crammed into your seat. This was more like going out on a nice boat with a local and a small group of friends. The boat is big enough to be comfortable in the waves, but small enough it can get up and go to get between spots where you might see dolphins.
I also really enjoyed hearing about the local history, geology and how the aboriginal people have seen the area change over the last 60,000 years or so. I could imagine how the coastline might have looked in the not to distance past.
The owner was very friendly and encouraged questions. We will go again and I encourage locals and tourists to take this trip. Getting to the boat is easy as it is docked at Glenelg. You may or may not see dolphins, but I'm sure you will have a good time!

Had a groupon offer and decided to go on this lovely sunset cruise from Glenelg to Brighton, lovely and sunny on the way out with all the changing colours in the sky, the full moon was out and the light strobes could be seen off the Genelg Ferris wheel.
No dolphins to be seen. We watched the sun go down, and made our way back, it was a bit choppy going back and glad i took a warm jacket. We were offered 1 drink onboard, choice of wine/beer/softdrink. A very pleasant evening would recommend.

Excited to tour the coast and enjoy the sunset we were initially contacted the day before to notify that we needed to arrive 3/4 hour earlier, so we cancelled dinner bookings. I'm not sure what we were expecting but were dissapointed with the vessel and relieved we didn't order food. The vessel was a small open craft with rows of seats.... Where would the advertised seafood platter go, on my knees?
Levi was our captain, an energetic and enthusiastic young man who was very friendly and relaxed and happy to step away from the wheel to take photos and chat. With not many of us on board,we set off. Glenelg to Brighton and return, barely taking 1 1/2 hours, not the advertised 2 hours.
In fact we drove home before the 2 hours!
This was not worth $88 each. I would have thought maybe $22 would be fair at a push.
Compared this to the Port Adelaide dolphin cruises,which we would definitely recommend, this was poor value for the money and if not for Levi's charm, would only have given this cruise a 2.

Highly recommended activity - lovely boat and great host. My son and I had a fabulous time, and it’s an experience we won’t forget quickly. We’ll be back.

We got a Groupon and it was completely worth the money spent! James was with us and he was persistent! He gave us 45 minutes additional so that we could spot a dolphin and in the end, we did!!! It was just a beautiful day and we loved it! Highly recommend!

Booked this via red balloon for half the price which I'm glad for. Initially we were booked on the 3pm but the company asked if we could be swapped to the sunset which I said was fine. They also pre mentioned it may be cancelled due to choppy water from the wind. On arrival we saw the plenty of dolphins in the harbour before we got on the boat but none after that (which I get it's nature). The guide was polite and we got a complementary drink which was nice. Once we cruised out of the harbour however it was incredibly choppy and a few passengers felt unwell. You literally go up and back in a straight line, there was 1 story about indigenous peoples and then back in a line. We anchored a few times but we were being pushed by the water and wind. The sunset was lovely, yet i got just as nice a view for free from Glenelg beach. The company was very easy to deal with and boat was lovely and new but the tour was very average.
