‪Wonderful dive experience with Sul‬

‪I did 2 dives with Sul, one of which was Kandooma Thila. The dive was excellent and Kandooma totally delivered. The operation was very professional and Sul gave a thorough and detailed boat, safety and dive briefing. The dives were very well planned and perfectly managed (air, no deco time, etc.). The boat crew was very helpful as well! I am a Scuba Instructor myself and the experience with Maldives passions was great.

Thanks to everyone, especially Sul!‬

‪Salut Marc,
Je viens de passer 10 jours avec ton équipe. Ce petit message pour te redire à quel point ils sont pros, sympas et techniquement fiables ! Je suis venu cette fois avec mon oncle, mon cousin et ma cousine et ils ont halluciné de l'accueil et de la façon dont on a été chouchoutés ;-)
Encore un grand bravo à toute l'équipe de plongeurs et un énorme big up pour le captain et son équipage aussi compétents que souriants !
A bientôt pour un 4ème voyage toujours avec ton équipe 👍🏼

‪Chill & experienced staff, and lovely to dive with. Would absolutely come here to scuba dive if I visit Maafushi again.‬

‪I spent three days on Maafushi in mid-April of this year, and had originally planned to spend at least two days diving in and around the island with Maldives Passions. A heavy monsoon storm made one of those days an impossibility for diving, but I spent my last day on Maafushi with this outfit for a refresher dive and one boat dive off to the northeast of the island.

Shuhoom was my instructor and the divemaster of the day; I found him to be methodical, knowledgeable, and easygoing. Over the course of my ~30 minute refresher dive and instruction time within the coral garden that exists on the eastern side of the island, he guided me through the motions and the practicalities of assembling my scuba rig, and afterwards gave me ample time, space, and guidance in which to recalibrate my sense for diving (and also pointed out dozens of species of aquatic flora and fauna to me in that time, including at least three pufferfish and a lionfish!)

Mohamed manned the counter back at the dive shop; he was very affable, patient, and willing to share his experiences as a dive instructor and as a resident of the Maldives for as long as we could listen. He has 35 years of diving experience under his belt, and he certainly carries himself like it; his assistance in helping me get a sense of what I needed to brush up on to get in the water again, I thought, was invaluable to me.

After a 2 1/2 hour break for midday, I boarded the dive shop’s boat with Shuhoom, a gentleman from Norway, and two sailors, who were professional to a fault; he took us diving down to about 20 meters (as my dive buddy and I only had Open Water licenses) and we spent approximately 40 minutes heading southbound along Maafushi’s reef dropoff. The coral were just so incredibly vibrant, and the sea was full of fish of every color and size darting, swirling, and swimming to and fro. Shuhoom pointed out (and filmed) many of the highlights that we saw during our time off of the reef, including a blacktip and grey reef shark, an almost iridescent parrotfish, a barracuda, three moray eels, spiny lobster, tuna, and more marble stingrays than you could shake a stick at. Those forty minutes felt like they were hours with how pleasantly they passed by; I was saddened, to an extent, when we had to resurface due to us running low on air, but the memories that I’ll have kept from that day, I’m sure, will last me for a long time to come.

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Maldives Passions; my only regret is that I was unable to dive with them more frequently during my time on Maafushi. The quality and professionalism of their staff- from Marc, who was always courteous and understanding in our email correspondence, to Mohamed, who was always around the shop and happy to help, to Shuhoom, who always had an anecdote to share or questions to ask- combined with how much value for your money you can get (my total bill came out to $82.50 US for the refresher dive, plus the boat dive, with taxes and fees included) helped make my time in the Maldives deeply enjoyable; I would 100% come back here to dive with Maldives Passions if I’m ever in the area again. ‪An experience of a lifetime. Crème de la crème!‬

‪Woaw! I am so impressed with the whole Maldives Passions team. They are fun and easy going people who provided such a warm and authentic experience. I completed my SSI open water course with both Marc and Sofwan who I could easily trust with my life. Marc taught me the most valuable skills I will take with me for the rest of my life diving and with Sofwan I enjoyed a relaxing time diving in the ocean. The team onboard made me feel part of the family and I had an enjoyable experience overall. Super professional and definitely worth it. I highly recommend and thank you once again for all your efforts and hard work I am truly grateful. ‬

‪I had my first time ever diving with Maldives Passions and decided to make SSI Scuba Diver with them. They were really professional, all the trainers I’ve met - Ibrahim and Adham were really good, and made my educational diving fantastic. Even I had a strict schedule with my work , they managed to fit me as it was convenient for me and helped at every moments. They really care the trainees and make the diving safe and enjoyable even you are a beginner. See you guys next time 🥳🤩‬

‪I can’t recommend this company highly enough. We are a group of 2 families and they gave us 2 knockout dives. Super professional. Safe. Warm and friendly staff. They also were very flexible - we were on a boat and got our logistics wrong. No problem, they brought all our equipment to the boat. Much appreciated guys 🙏‬

‪優質的服務與非常有耐心吧導潛，船上的設施也很棒，可以做日光浴，還會幫客人泡飲料，在這裏進行了三次潛水 ，整體感受很不錯 值得推薦‬

‪Vivimos una experiencia increible con Maldives Passions y con nuestro dive master Sul. hemos visto de todo, desde delfines y tiburones hasta rayas y tortugas. tambien hemos contratado para que nos tomen fotos y videos y han sido excelentes. Fue nuestro primer buceo despues del curso de Padi Open Water por lo que eramos bastante novatos y nos hemos sentido super seguros durante todas las inmersiones‬

‪Highly Recommend – Amazing Dives & Very Professional Operation‬

‪A friend had recommended Maldives Passions in Maafushi so I got in touch with them even before I came to the island. Marc was super responsive and I ended up doing 5 great dives with them.

I had just come from an amazing liveaboard in the Deep South so I didn't have super high expectations but I was surprised about the quality of the diving and the professional operation. I've been diving with several dive shops across the Maldives and this one was my favorite and by far the one with the highest safety standards.

Also important: They don't have a minimum number of divers so we went out even when it was just me. They also don't mix experienced divers with inexperienced divers/beginners like in many other shops so your diving experience will be much better.

Highly recommend.‬
