Great pub vibe, found the staff to be really friendly. Generous meal sizes. The pizza was fantastic. Would definitely come back.

Whilst walking the streets of Geraldton as tourists do, we called in twice for refreshing drinks and a sit-down during our stay. Perhaps it's the lack of trained staff during Covid times but I was served the worst Mojito ever - mentioned it to the barmaid but got told there was nothing wrong with it. Second visit managed a drinkable Malibu and coke after asking and paying for a double shot. There wasn't a third visit.

Had dinner here last night and waited an hour and 15 mins for it to come as seemed like only one serving. Lots of tables before us complaining and one whole table walked out after only one person got their meal and finished and none others arrived. Needed more staff and then after waiting a long time, mine was pretty cold when I got it and it was powdered mash potato!! It's a shame because it has a nice atmosphere but thought I would go again as thought that waiting ages last time also, might have been a one off but it wasn't. Food would have been tasty too if hot!

There was only one woman running around like a headless chook, delivering the meals and one person taking meal orders, while serving drinks, which was probably due to staff shortages with Covid. Meals weren't brought out at the same time so by the time my husband finished his, he had to go ask about mine. We noticed another couple do the same. Think she got my nasi goreng, as they ordered after us and her husband's meal hadn't come either.
The meals were okayish, fish a bit over cooked but the satay chicken kebabs were nice.
The place looks like it could do with a good scrub.

Beautiful old hotel. Very clean and popular. Service was very good and the staff very accommodating. Meals very reasonably priced and very large. The chicken Parmy was huge and could easily have served 3. Salad was very fresh and dressing was great. Would certainly recommend this hotel

We were looking for somewhere for a quick meal outside that was pet friendly, what a find, really friendly and helpful staff, good pizza, certainly recommend

Visiting Geraldton to travel to the Abrolhos Islands. Had lunch at the Freemasons and came back for dinner on the return trip.
Food and service was good in a typical Aussie country pub.
We enjoyed the beef brisket burger (spicy) and the pork ribs. Had the freemasons burger for lunch. Large selection of beers on tap including Swan. See pictures.

We had the Abrolhos platter with squid, lobster, salmon, oysters and prawn with scallop skewers. Served as a 3 tier plate. We also had fish of the day which was swordfish and mash. The service was fast but you had to order from the counter. A good hearty pub meal. Very crowded due to boxing day patrons.

Had Saturday lunch. Food was good solid Pub fare. Prices were reasonable and Staff were friendly and helpful.

The actual food when we got it was actually very good. The disappointing part was the dysfunctional people behind the bar... Some seemed like they wanted to be elsewhere- others had little knowledge of the menu and when you asked questions it seemed a big problem to get answers. The actual people serving out the food seemed more switched on (thank goodness) so we were able to move forward with our lunch . No big complaints here - just good pub food . It was actually a big surprise after the indifference of the bar staff :(
