We are locals but even if we weren’t, we would travel to come to this hideaway just outside of Hastings! The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are uber friendly, and the food and drink are ALWAYS outstanding. Can’t count how many times we’ve visited but it’s a staple for us now…we just love it!

Such a cool setting, loved the drive out there and the way they’ve set up the tables, safari tent, caravan and toilets. Staff were awesome. Perfect spot to take kids as loads of fun things for them to play on.
Pizzas were pretty good, would defo recommend and will return for the nice vibe.

Loved the pizzas, loved the tent safari feel, the toilets in huts and the caravan to order food! Lots for the kids to do and run around space allowing for the adults to enjoy!

Good beer tasting and a lovely setup. We unfortunately went on a rainy day so the outdoor seating was not as pleasant as if it had been sunnier but service and experience was still good despite weather. We both preferred the Garden of Eden Farmhouse ale best. We also split the Brezel (soft pretzel with olive oil and mustard) and Brew grain crackers and baked Camembert. The crackers and cheese was the BEST! They really use every bit of the grain used in brewing that they can and it is so tasty! Grounds are also kid friendly and we saw plenty of people bring theirs.

We stumbled across this place and I’m so glad we did! Such a great find, roaring outdoor fires to keep you warm, great wood fired pizza, loads of local beer and wine options. Very impressed with the service and the safari tent and ablution huts just add to the quirkinesses - in the right way!! Do take the kids as there is a great play area, trampoline and a bike. Fun for everyone!

We joined family to enjoy the relaxed friendly atmosphere of this delightful gem of a brewery/cafe . we were entertained by local musicians. Great Godzone craft beer and local Hawkes Ridge wine available and both enjoyed by our group. We had share pizzas and a platter. Can recommend the tomato and the garlic pzzas Was a lovely warm day so enjoyed the outdoor rural venue

What a fabulous little set up in so many regards. A family run craft brewery in a superb rural setting where the owner has a true passion for his predominately european inspired beers. Beautiful beer garden amongst a stand of home grown noble hops. Generous 6 pot tasting paddles available served from old caravan and which came complete with extensive tasting notes. My only very slight nit-pick here would be the suggested order tasting which featured the hefty 9% biere de garde as the kick off rather the final sample! I just swapped mine around. Really nice pizza lunch and some low key music from a local band added further to the ambiance. Some local guest beers also tap, so a style available for pretty much anyone's taste. Wished I could have stayed all afternoon, but was due back in Wellington later.

Lovely classic kiwi day in the sun. The staff were wonderful and helpful. There was face painting for the kids and families playing rugby on the grass. Lovely and relaxing great food and even greater beer. Highly recommend for anyone. Thank you for letting us stay for the night in our camper.

Came out for a few quiet drinks on a Sunday afternoon. This place is amazing greats views great food and 1 heck of a beer selection.
The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable about their place and beers.
Sitting in the middle of a hop farm is very different.
Recomend the trip it is awesome.

This place has to be one of Hawkes Bays gems, it is an awesome place to visit. The set up is brilliant, the beer is served from a really cool retro caravan and the pizzas and other food are prepared from another caravan and a wood fired oven. There is a great glamping tent with seating and heating for the cooler days and nights and a great outdoor area with lots of seating, tables and a play area for the kids. There is also a camp fire, which is lit if the weather is cold and dry. There is an awesome selection of amazing beers, along with some wine and the pizza's are fantastic, soooo tasty. It is a lovely family run micro brewery, with Godfrey always happy to have a chat about the beer and Rachel cooking the amazing food. Their young daughter helps out with the waitressing and she is very polite and friendly. This is one of our favourite places to visit, especially on a nice summers afternoon, but it is good anytime of the year!
