Rubbish Bins absolutelyoverflowing with Dog Deposits. Seems Council has forgotten to empty. STINKY.

Замечательный парк для прогулок с собаками. Парк большой. Там есть и речка, и маленькая роща и полянки. Парк чистый. Каждый владелец следит за своими питомцами. И конечно убирает за ними. Там есть пакетики и урны

taken my dogs many times and they enjoy running free. Paths easy to negotiate and scenery great. The bonus is getto meet other social walkers and heir fur babies A great facitity for dog walkers and walkers

This place is soo awesome!!
Loads of space away from the busy roads, for the dogs to run free. Even better is the stream that runs through the middle where they can have a bit of a swim or play as well.
This place is set up so well, lots of rubbish bins and poop bag dispensers.
There are always lots of cars in the carpark, people exploring the place with and without dogs.
Love it!

Our regional Canine Friends Pet Therapy members had a Get Together here. It was my first visit and what a terrific place for our furry friends!
My old dog couldn’t walk the whole distance and I had to turn back but everyone else did the full loop and loved it.
I’ll be taking my two younger dogs for a good romp there next time we’re over. The only thing I would say is it’s not fully fenced in for those wanderers without great recall. If that’s your dog take lots of treats. But overall the situation, the trees and stream are just fabulous. There were lots of other dogs with their owners and I found myself talking to many people. It is obviously well used.
There are rubbish bins for disposing of Doggy doo.
Overall a wonderful visit. We’ll be back!

Great walking track . Lovely hour plus visit with dogs and family enjoying the sunshine and vista. Have been before but access difficult this time due to road works

Lovely walk with my small dog. Can walk round tracks and into the water. Relaxing and safe as lots of people go there to walk their dogs

I took my dog here for the first time today. It was my first time but not his as hubby usually does the dog-park run. I wasn't 100% sure, on arrival, that I had the right place as it is sign-posted as 'Pakowhai Regional Park' rather than as 'Pakowhai Dog-Park' which is what I was expecting. But...doggy certainly knew where we were and his tail was wagging furiously well before he got out of the car. We did a loop and met other nice people and their nice doggies.
I wouldn't say it's overly scenic or pretty but it is pleasant and it's great to have a place specifically for dogs off the leash. And for those who like the water...there is a pristine looking stream for their swimming and splashing pleasure which our dog (and most others by the look of it) love. There is also a nice area with agility features for doggy to negotiate. We will definitely keep visiting as our dog loves it and we enjoy it too.

Great setting, like an English country park. We only encounter friendly dogs and the agility section is great. Lots of different paths allow for variety every time we go.

What a great place to take your dog for a safe walk and a place to congregate with other dogs.Our pup was only about 4 months old when we took her here and she had a great time.Your forever stopping to talk with other dog lovers and it is great to see the dogs running free and swimming in the river.We will deffinately be back

I saw a photo of motor bikes, is this park shared with them or purely just for dog walking, as some dog types chase bikes
