We went there with my partners young grandson, When we arrived we were the only people there due to the changeable weather. We are so glad that we decided to take a chance on the weather because it stayed dry for the couple of hours we were there. It is a super place for young children as for a dollar for food they can feed the animals. He enjoyed doing this and getting close enough to the goats, chickens, ducks etc. it was a good price to spend a couple of hours. Near the end is a great little park for the children to use including a trampoline. The staff were friendly and I would definitely recommend to other people with young children.

Such a neat spot to take younger children.
We saw so many babies due to the time of year. The ducklings were only born the night before so it was pretty special to see them.
Special shout our to the lady that works there. She was absolutely fantastic speaking to us about the different animals

Such a cute little place, animals accessible snd owners informative. All animals have large enclosures they’re turned out in after their days work. Lovely little birthday party area. A place for youngsters and grandparents alike. I have plenty animals in the U.K. and these were as happy as home pets . Bonus pony rides also.

Overall a fun place to visit especially with small children. Even the teenagers I had with me enjoyed their time here though. The pony rides were the definite highlight of the visit. I did have concerns over the welfare of some of the animals particularly those in the wooden stalls around the entry of the petting zoo. It did state they were let into paddocks overnight however most were on concrete without any hay and just being fed maize all day from the visitors. Of most concerning was the rabbits. Stuck in a small pen with sheep! How scary for them having sheep towering over them!Only pellets and a litter tray full of water. No hay, fruit, weeds or vegetable to graze on. They would inadvertently eat the maize thrown to the sheep with is really bad for them to eat. Then another tiny pen with a few rabbits and squished in together. Keeping rabbits and guinea pigs together is not a good idea as the rabbits can spread disease to the guinea pigs and they have different nutritional requirements. Felt very sorry for the the rabbits and guinea pigs and wish I’d voiced my opinions to them when I was there.

Really enjoyed our day at the Farmyard even though it was a bit cold and miserable. Lots to see and do and the variety of animals is great. Will definitely visit again.

My grandchildren were fascinated by the selection of animals in this small well run zoo. They were able to feed some. Even a snack and gift shop

Took our grandchildren aged three to eight years and had a great day. The guinea pig patting was a treat. Entry fee is reasonable but all the extras add up. The horse rides $6pp are great but we had to wait 40 minutes. The train ride $5pp is a rip off though. Animal food another cost but worth it. They seemed a bit low on staff the day we were there. Lots of birthday party groups. Suggest take your own food or lunch. The playground could do with a spruce up but it was functional.

Took our 5 year old grand-daughter here. She really loved being able to feed the baby lamb with the bottle and hold the guinea pigs. Great interaction with the animals. You were able to feed most of the animals with the food that you bought for $1.00. Also had a playground, pony rides Pleasant afternoon out.

We didn't plan to visit here but found we had some time to spare. Popped in and was pleasantly surprised. There is a good range of animals and the price of entry, feed, horse rides and milk for the lambs was all very reasonable. My daughter loved the trip and we would go again if in the region.

This place is great! We visited with our two year old. Lovely staff especially the lovely lady who was doing the pony rides, very friendly and patient. Our toddler absolutely loved riding Fanta! High light of her trip! Great variety of animals which you can tell they are all well looked after and cared for. Great little play ground and seating areas to enjoy a ice cream after looking/feeding the animals. The train is pretty neat too. Great place, great work guys!
