Excellent farmers market with a selection of food you can eat on the spot or take home. Great ambience with music and space for everyone wander around.

Essential Sunday morning visiting! We bought greek basil and japanese parsley plants, GF pancake mix, macaroons, courgettes, smoothies and vegan coconut yoghurt starter amongst other items. A man with a wonderful voice serenaded everyone. All the stallholders we visited were cheerful and friendly as well as very knowledgeable about their products. If I lived in the Hawkes Bay I would go to this market every Sunday! I very much look forward to returning.

After checking out we went to the market to have pastries and coffee, this is a well organized and great selection market. Loads of parking. Definitely a good market to go highly recommend

This is a well run Sunday market in a beautiful location. Today a delightful band played music in the centre of the market and there were plenty of chairs to sit on while eating the delicious food from stalls. The people who run the stalls are very pleasant and all the produce is of very high quality. Definitely a great place to visit if you’re in Hastings on a Sunday morning.

We had heard about this market for years and it doesn’t disappoint. Had a fab morning there. Great coffee, fig people excellent too and gorgeous blueberry ice cream

We visited this market yesterday and what a great place this is
Being the Xmas new year period it was extremely busy but it did not deter from it being a great experience
There is so many great places to eat and so many places to buy good produce
You can drink anything from coffee to wine
Highly recommend

Lively atmosphere, great selection and just a nice place to visit. We took two relatives in their 90s and they both had fun and found seats when they needed a stop for coffee.

very lively, live music, lots of food to try stands, but also very crowded as it was the last outdoor market and on Easter Sunday not much else was open....

We found it great for sampling before you buy and everyone very friendly and helpful. Especially liked the crummy award winning Hohepa cheeses, local olives and bakery goods. We also purchased sausages and had brought some Holly Bacon. Lovely atmosphere and settling.
