‪Short Walk‬
مايو 2021
‪This walk is just 1km long and there is a carpark at it. It ends at the Mutitjulu Waterhole. The Kuniya walk is wheelchair accessible. If you are a birdwatcher or just enjoy seeing native birds you will lots along the walk. Rock art and cave can be sen on the walk too.‬

‪Spectacular after rain‬
العائلة • يناير 2021
‪Visited the waterhole 3 times during our visit. Once on the Segway tour (Segway tour starts here), another morning just to absorb the serenity of it and again after the rain came down on our last night. It filled up quickly after the rain and the noise from the frogs was magnificent! They could be heard at the start of the walk. It’s a shaded walk ‬

‪Mutitjulu Waterhole‬
زوجان • أغسطس 2020
‪This is a lovely walk at the base of Uluru. Normally it does have some water and it is the first time I have seen it dry. There are some interesting paintings in this area and you can see how the water can flow like a waterfall down the rock. One of my favourite places and hope yours too. If it is raining, this area is spectacular.‬

‪The Kuniya Walk at Uluru‬
فبراير 2020
‪In February, when we visited the Australian Outback and Uluru, our first stop after a ride completely around Uluru, was at the Kuniya Walk. What an excellent choice by our knowledgeable and experienced guide! On the short walk - probably only about one-half mile or less, which passes a couple of caves (dwelling and social with rock art on the walls and overhead), winding its way between the huge rock faces into a small gorge area and passing by an array of local natural trees and desert landscapes, before ultimately ending up at a water pool formed from the seepage and dripping of water down the rock face. It was beautiful.
Better still, the guide was able to draw together the ancient people's beliefs with the markings and features of Uluru overhead; as well as describing the indigineous people's cultures and lifestyles into the available plants and natural terrain.
This walk was a great introduction to both Uluru and to the life and culture of the Aboriginial People.
The trail is nicely graded and paved with crushed rock - accessible for anyone, even handicapped accessible. Numerous informative signs detail ancient cultures and natural features of the rocks and the dessert growth. This walk could be done by yourself without the guide merely raeding the signs and information boards; but a guide as good as ours really enhanced the experience and the amount of detailed information available.
Don't miss it if you are in the area!‬

‪A lovely and easy walk.‬
أكتوبر 2019
‪This is a lovely and easy walk in Uluru.
We walked it during a tour and information given by our guide was intriguing (yet not overwhelming).
Make sure to wear a flies-net, otherwise you'd get distracted by the endless amount of nasty flies.‬

‪Mutitjulu waterhole is highlight in this area‬
نوفمبر 2019
‪Of all the areas of Uluru I saw on a walk around it with a guide, this area had the most information about the mythology of the site if you were there without a guide. Thus i would recommend it for that reason. The Kuniya Walk is accessible from the Kuniya carpark inside the Uluru national park The walk is next to the rock face of Uluru and a there is dramatic scenery intertwined with the heritage values of Uluru at the Mutitjulu Waterhole (which is along a track that branches off the Kuniya walk directly towards Uluru). You can see all this as you walk around Uluru or go there directly by parking at the Kuniya carpark. I saw the area as part of a sunrise base walk of Uluru done by a company called SEIT. This was very well organised and enjoyable and included transport to/from Ayres Rock Resort and a breakfast from a swag.‬

‪Beautiful Views‬
أكتوبر 2019
‪We started the walk around Uluru with the Mala Ranger walk. I then continued to make the full loop around the base. Each part of the walk gave a different view, with changing shadows and angles. There's not much shade so bring water. A fly net is also very helpful. An overall lovely part of the walk.‬
