Quelle bonne expérience inoubliable !!!
nous avons été agréablement surpris par la bonne organisation, le professionnalisme et surtout la bonne humeur de l'équipe de chez "Real Bike Shop" !!!
nous avons eu l'honneur de faire une excursion dans la jungle avec Louis, un vrai guide, passionné par le vélo et son habita, les montagnes de la jungle de Las Terrenas!
Aussi, Louis est un entraîneur hors pair ! pratiquant le vélo de montagne depuis plus de 40 ans, il a su nous transmettre ça passion et repousser nos limites, Ho oui on était épuisé après notre premier périple à la montagne, un vrai défi ! mais nous étions vraiment heureux de l'avoir fait!
nous y sommes retourné trois jours en excursion guidé, en montagne, sur la plage, toujours émerveillé par le paysage de Las Terrenas et les histoires de la région raconté par Louis.
j'avais apporté mon vélo pour le voyage, mais Je me suis laissé tenter, une journée, par les vélos électriques specialezed turbo, la aussi, une expérience extraordinaire, des vélos de qualité bien entretenu.
un vrai bike park! des belle trails technique, du gros enduro, des paysages à couper le souffle! un paradis terrestre en milieu protégé, qui mérite d'être connu et apprécié, beaucoup de travail on été fait pour offrir une aussi belle qualité de pistes, un travail d'ingénieurs !
je recommande fortement à tout les amateurs de vélos de montagnes d'aller vivre cette expérience inoubliable à Las Terrenas, dans un vrai bike park avec un vrai bike shop !

I cam for holiday in the area from Canada. I was picked up and dropped back from the front of resort. In the bike shop, they have many current, good brand bikes in their disposal. They look well maintained, and I choose Specialized stampy full suspension, as my ride.
My favorite part of the tour was... Luis. Truly fantastic guy, that loves what he does. He is the co-owner and one of the guids himself. I was the only customer that morning.
We rode in their "bike park" which is large swap of private hilly wood land with many, many connected trail that he and his team, maintain dayly. They put a lot of time and resources in that maintenance effort, after all it is caribean Island and nature will reclaim all back faster then you can build.
Trails have verity of base, 90% of single tracks dirt, with some roots, rocks, loose gravel, small manmade jump.
Because I'm expirience mountain biker (in my opinion at least) he took me to some very challenging sections with steep uphill and fun downhills with many tight switchbacks. As ride progresses Luis evaluates your riding skills and abilities, and he selects proper trails to maximize your fun. There is nice panoramic view of ocean, shoreline and surroundings, when we managed to climb to the top a few times.
After nearly 2.5hrs, I had nearly enough, but Luis, guy 60+ was still running strong like he just started 20 min. ago.
Intensity and fun aspect of this tour exceeded my expectations. I was tired, but fully satisfied, and that included price I paid. I will definitely do it again on my next holiday in Samana area next year (I hope).

Louis and Primoz at Real Bike Shop were fantastic! Louis is a fantastic guide who can tailor a ride to your comfort level. Their bike park(yes they have their own bike park) is awesome! True single track enduro riding in one of the most amazing locations that I have ever ridden. I would recommend anyone who is looking for an amazing adventure reach out to them!

Je recommande Real bike shop. La location du bike était parfait et bien entretenu pour une activité enduro (specialized turbo levo un très bon all mountain). Le guide Louis était au top !!! il a su m emmener sur des bonnes traces avec de l engagement technique. Le terrain est un peu shaper mais reste très nature. Les spéciales ne sont pas très longues mais c est largement suffisant pour s amuser. A refaire 🤩. Merci Louis

7-Tagestour im Süden der Dom. Rep. mit Begleitfahrzeug. Mit Luis als Guide und Begleitfahrzeugfahrer Toni machten wir schon unsere 2 Tour mit total 6 Personen.(1. Tour im 2019 durch den Norden in 13 Tagen mit 4 Personen). Super schöne Tage mit atemberaubenden Strecken und Landschaften und gutem Essen. Wie schon auf der 1. Tour guter Guide der für jedes allfällige Problem immer eine Lösung findet. Gute Bikes - einfach geil. Nach dem Motto immer den Rat von Luis befolgen.....und sonst heisst es dann plötzlich tschau tschau Mikey Mouse....hoffen wir auf weitere schöne Touren.

Did the basic tour. Was nervous. The tour was led by an experienced instructor Luis, who reinforced safety and made the trip feel comfortable. Discovered beautiful views of roads, beaches, and forest. Was thrill-seeking. Highly recommend. It was my first bike tour ever while on travel and a dream come true to me. Thank you Luis and Raisa for also making me feel at home. Do it! No matter the level of experience. Just do it!

A friend of mine and me were welcomed by Luis and got the eBikes and some explanation about the tour. We knew Luis from a previous tour already and here we are back. He took us on a semi difficult trail and coached us when needed. It was a great experience. I admire Luis for his passion and knowledge of the sport and the landscape.

For serious MTB riders as well as those in the learning curve, Louis will adapt the tour to your riding abilities.
We did two different routes, one with nice drops and steep trails in the eMTB and the other more scenic with the normal bikes.
Both were worth it! Specially the stamina and positive mood of our host.

Very lovely warm couple and quite helpful. The bikes were high quality and well maintained and Luis was full of positivity, kindness and joy, his laughter echoed throughout the entire jungle, not too sure what he was laughing about but it definitely added to the experience! I would have given 5 stars but they said that they had three Ebikes but they only had 2. Amazing views, nature and jungle, Luis really knows the area. Thank you Luis!

Hola , mi chico y yo llegamos a terrenas el 21 de Abril y me ha encargado que le busque un sitio para salir en bici . Quiero saber en qué consiste las salidas y cuando puede ser . El necesita alquilar una bicicleta , tiene un nivel muy alto , suele hacer 100 km cuando sale con su grupo . Gracias y espero tu informacion
