Very cool day. Everything is planned to the last bit and the crew makes it even more enjoyable! The spots are super pretty and it‘s a must do thing in the Whitsundays!

Absolutely loved this trip on the jet boat, it was very up beat, lots of fun, we had grandchildren with us who enjoyed it just as much as us. We couldn't have asked for better hosts, Max and Heath, were knowledgeable of the area and very entertaining. The whole family gave them 5 stars!! Thankyou for a memorable day out to Whitehaven!

We had a wonderful experience with the Ocean Rafting tour recently. Kurt and Jess who ran the tour made sure the whole day ran smoothly, was upbeat and just a good time. They were both really helpful with our young kids, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. The tour itself was excellent, stunning views, the boat ride itself was a lot of fun and I couldn’t fault our experience at all and would highly recommend to anyone!

This was an amazing experience. The trip takes in some of the best spots in the Whitsundays. While the location and scenery are there for everyone the experience was made by our tour guides. Dan driving the boat and our deck hand Celeste were exceptional. They have so much knowledge and enthusiasm for the area it's infectious. Thanks for a brilliant day, I can't recommend it highly enough. First class.

A MUST DO on your trip to Whitsundays, we went with Ocean Rafting Tours and our pilot was Julian, he was French I think? His voice was clear and direct over the radio, and so informative! We all had window seats to take pictures & videos and he gave us heaps of warning to get our phones and cameras ready! And if you were sitting on the right side of the plane he turned around immediately so the left could get the same shot, and before he left for eg. Heart reef he asked if we all were good with our pictures!!! How great was that? We couldn't have had a more experience pilot. And for someone like me who is claustrophobic it was fine, because everyone has a window seat there was plenty of room. Seriously, you must budget for this when you go to the Whitsundays, you will not be dissapointed.

Everything was perfect. James and Maisie were perfect hosts the day could joy have been better. Great snorkeling fantastic lunch oh and a couple of drinks with newly made friends

The day out on the boat exceeded all expectations! Heath and Max were an amazing duo as our guides making us feel welcome and at ease. Our particular trip had a lot of younger kids on board and the two guides went out of their way to get the kids involved and feel special. For me, the trip had it all - a thrilling speed boat ride, fantastic snorkeling in beautiful warm water, an amazing beach and walk, and a really nice lunch. Heath had a killer playlist blasting all trip which really elevated the mood and enhanced the journey.

Had a lovely day with Ocean Rafting! My partner suffers from motion sickness so we were a bit scared how the day would go (definetly because it was very windy that day), but because of the speed of the boat he didn’t experience any issues whatsoever. The crew, Taylor and Tommy, were funny and friendly and kept us entertained the whole day. Thanks for the lovely day!

If you had to spend two days driving (1 day there, and 1 day back) and would only have 1 day in Airlie Beach to do this, based off of your experience with Ocean Rafting, would you do it?

Re southern lights tour:- I am a 63yr old "chicken". Is this nail biting scary?? I just want to wander the islands (not snorkel). Thankyou

Hi There,
Sorry for the delay in response. The youngest Ocean Rafter has been 3 months old and the Eldest has been 87!! So Ocean Rafting is suitable for all ages, provided the weather is not forecast a strong wind warning. If you are looking to just explore the island, i would suggest the Southern Lights tour, as it offers less time snorkelling and more time on Whitehaven Beach.

It’s depend on how old is your kid but Ocean Rafting and also Cruise Whitsunday,these company provide you wet suit. As long as you are wearing fitted size, you don’t need to worry about stinger too much. Both company has pretty covered and different size so if you really want to make sure the size, just give them a call.

Ocean Rafting absolutely welcomes guests who require extra assistance however we do need to understand the extent of your disability in order to assess if the tour will be suitable for you in terms on boarding, disembarking, water activities, weather conditions which affect the ride and so on. I don’t think so, but stinger suits were available for rent (or included in certain packages) which made us feel a lot better in the water!

I'm looking at doing the chill & Thrill package. Do i get to see everything with this package or will i miss out on some bits, if so is there another package i can choose so i don't miss anything??

Will I be able to take my phone for photos? Will be in a water resistant bag inside a backpack.

Yes not a problem at all....we have storage for bags under the seats and it is a great idea to bring your phone in a water resistant bag! We look forward to hopefully seeing you soon!
