Went to these markets with the family to have a look around on a Sunday. They had a great variety and everything I ate and drank were delicious and perfect. However, whenever I go out in public, something despicable somehow always manages to happen to me. As I stepped out onto the closed road off of the footpath, a drug lord was hooning down the road on his mechanically upgraded E-scooter, travelling about 50 KPH. He slammed me over, and I was flying like a rag doll into the German Sausage cart. I flew straight in through the front window of the cart and straight into the kitchen. I frivolously knocked over all of the pots and pans and was completely burnt all over by the pots of boiling water. I suffered from third degree burns as well as a broken pelvis, arm, leg, neck, and knee cap. I was rushed to the hospital unconscious and was in there for around 2 weeks. And those 2 weeks...... they felt like an eternity. I was terribly injured from this experience, and the actions of the ignorant foolish individual who put me in this condition. I will never forget this experience. However, the markets themselves were just remarkable. I would definitely return again - would recommend to families.

Visited on Sunday 15th November. It's good to see so many people here enjoying the street market. It's always busy which is good to see.

This market is quite big with lots of stalls and includes food vendors as well. Well worth the visit.

THe Market has a reasonable selection and variation of stalls that are well space out and accessible. The Market was not crowded but still a healthy attendance. worth the visit

Visited on Sunday 21st June. It is good to see the street market back after being shut down during covid 19 restrictions. People were out enjoying themselves again which is good to see.

Pretty good street markets... parking was pretty in easy walking distance...plenty of stalls and food varieties for a snack ... added bonus some of the retail outlets were open as well ... great idea

As a Caloundra local, I visit the Sunday Markets on a regular basis, but it is always interesting when bringing visitors from interstate or overseas to look at it through different eyes. Over the years, the number of stall holders fluctuates but although the numbers may be slightly down at the moment, the quality definitely remains.
If you’re a foodie, you’ll be in seventh heaven! You can enjoy French crepes, German sausages, Dutch poffertjes, Turkish, Japanese, Australian, Vietnamese... the list goes on and on... but the one food stall you really mustn’t miss is the Tibetan Momos! If you’ve never tasted them you will be in for a real treat and I guarantee you’ll be back for more! (They are delicious little vegetable dumplings, either steamed or fried and served with soy and sweet chilli sauces.) After all, you can have a doughnut or a hot dog any time, but how often do you get the chance to experience the authentic taste of the Himalayan country of Tibet?
It’s a lovely morning out for the whole family, with plenty of clothes, toys, arts and crafts, pet accessories, bread and cakes, coffee and juices, flowers and wonderfully fresh local fruit and veg offerings - if you can’t find something here to tempt you, I’ll be amazed! The street musicians are great and contribute to the happy vibe and when you’re quite exhausted, beautiful Bulcock Beach is just a gentle stroll 3 or 4 minutes away. Without a doubt, the best street fair on the Sunshine Coast.

We had a wonderful time. Our Grandsons really enjoyed it. Face painting and met a Rainbow Macaw, which the eldest Grandson proudly held on his arm. He was also given one of the birds wing feathers, that had fallen out, from the owner. Lots of different stalls to wander through.

I enjoyed the variety of food stalls available, however seating was fairly limited. I was looking forward to lots of arts and crafts stalls but they were surprisingly lacking today. Toilet facilities are limited.

Thank you for taking the time out to provide us with a review, we really appreciate it. We are currently curating the market and while we aren't there yet we really value all input and it is great to know there is a want for more arts and crafts. We will definitely look into it. We agree that we need more seating and are going to be investing in that as soon as possible. Over the next few months we are looking to introduce more new stalls and different activations so we really hope you come back!

We have the Currimundi Lake Twilight market every 3rd Friday of the Month and from September we will have the Caloundra Twilight market every last Friday of the month.
Is the Caloundra night market on on this Friday? 29th Dec?

Hi Sharon & Vic,
The market starts at 8am and runs through till 1pm every Sunday. Monaco is just a 50 metre walk from the start of the market which covers 2 blocks of the main street.

When are the markets going to be relocated to the beachfront parkland at Happy Valley and bring more music and a better atmosphere to the markets as a tourist attraction instead of the present dull and boring money making venture. Caloundra was referred to as gods waiting room for many years but now its simply referred to as Clowndra....Wonder why?

There's no intention to move from the current location in Bulcock Street where the market has been since 2002.
Happy Valley is a wonderful green space that people understandably love, adore and frequent for it's magnificent views, spaciousness, to kick a footy around, play a bit of cricket, have barbeques, picnics, family gatherings and more.
Bulcock Street is perfect for a market as it has all of the amenities that the public need such as great access, public car parks, ATM's, hard level surface for wheelchairs and strollers, public toilets, seating, shelter, shade, cafes where one can sit and take a break from browsing and more.

i will be in caloundra in middle of april..will the twilight markets still be on then..or is it only a summer thing.

Hi Val, Twilight Markets are only on seasonally so will be back again most likely in September and then again in December. The Caloundra Street Fair is on every Sunday - generally no matter what the weather is like.
