We stayed at Mantra and had a lovely meal there. Loved walking down the pier, taking photos of the beautiful coastline and seeing the waterfalls. The areat shops and cafes were just across the road. Wish we had more time there!

Teddy’s Lookout is found after a steep 3 minute drive from Lorne followed by a short level walk from the Carpark, with a great view out onto the Bay.

The lookout is 5 minutes from Lorne. It has a lovely view so we stopped here as we headed westward to Port Campbell. You can really see the vista well.

Easy walk from carpark...great view from the end. There's some wildlife around too- lots of birds. Don't feed the cockies!!

We paid a short visit here to take in the most iconic view of the Great Ocean Road as it winds its way along the coast. The viewpoint is within the Lorne upper residential area and access to it is well signposted. There is a good picnic area.

An interesting lookout as it gives a pleasant view over the mouth of the local river rather than yet another lookout aimed at the cliff formations.
It's pretty easy to get to with a road almost all the way and a carpark at hand. It's not wheelchair friendly as there is a narrow path with some steps to get there.
This lookout is however the kick off point to a couple of other nearby vantage points - the Otway Ranges Lookout and the St George River Lookout and it would be foolish not to tick off all three on your trip.
It's pretty easy to get to with a road almost all the way and a carpark at hand. It's not wheelchair friendly as there is a narrow path with some steps to get there.
This lookout is however the kick off point to a couple of other nearby vantage points - the Otway Ranges Lookout and the St George River Lookout and it would be foolish not to tick off all three on your trip.

Worth a stop by if you’re driving along great ocean road. This look out is really nice. Highly recommended to stop by for 5-30mins max.

This is one of the many "Lookouts " points along the very long Great Ocean Road trail. Very similar to NZ. The views are all nice but pretty similar.

There was a small sign on the Great Ocean Road indicating the turn off to Teddy's Lookout. At the T-junction with George Street, there were no signs! Does one turn left or right?? It would be helpful for those of us without a GPS, to have a sign pointing to the left! Teddy's Lookout is at the top end of George Street. There is a small car park. It is a short amble to the lookout platform which provides superb views of the GOR crossing St Georges River and snaking along the coast. There is a path down to a lower lookout, if you are keen to explore a little more. It was interesting to see the 100 million year old concretions next to the path. There are many, many lookouts along the GOR, but this one's point of difference, is being able to admire the winding road itself. Be sure to make this one of your lookout stops!

Can I take a caravan up to Teddy's Lookout. Is the turn around sufficiently large to do a complete turn in one go?

There is a car park at the lookout, but if it is a busy day it could be tricky to park a caravan.
