An absolutely amazing day .
Our tutor Abbie was so kind , calm & reassuring. A really talented teacher , she skillfully guided us through every stage of our glass blowing day .
Abbie and her equally lovely assistant Kerry made the day a complete joy .

Absolutely brilliant! Abbie was so patient and kind and helped us learn this incredible craft! Harder than it looks but so enjoyable. Definitely recommend and want to book again!

The most fabulous experience! I was given this as a gift and was curious. The staff were friendly, helpful, patient and really great teachers. Abbie guided my group gently through the process of making a paperweight, bauble and vase/carafe over the course of the day, with just the right amount of help and advice so you really felt you had made the items. Can’t wait to see the finished article - which had to stay behind to cool down slowly. Can’t recommend this highly enough.

I went to the Spring School five day glass making course which covers a variety of techniques including blowing glass in the hotshop, lamp working (beads and small items like pumpkins and mushrooms), fused glass and mould making, plus sand cast glass. What a week!, it was full on with a small group and a number of excellent instructors who admirably handled the differing skill sets of the individual, giving as much or little help as was required for a successful outcome. The instructors are truly professional and at the same time friendly and encouraging, they want positive outcomes and will go the extra mile to ensure that everyone has a sense of achievement and lovely items to take away. The cost of the course initially looked large, but when I had seen what was included and the generous staff to participant ratios, I realised that it was excellent value. I shall definitely be returning and the group I was with were really pleasant and inclusive, everyone wanted all the others to succeed. What a lovely kind atmosphere. Thanks so much to everyone involved.

What a truly amazing experience. My friend and I really didn't know what to expect and we had a thoroughly enjoyable morning. Georgia was so friendly, supportive, encouraging and highly professional. It was fun, low key and with Georgia & Abbie's help, we all manage a good effort of a paperweight and a bauble. Just can't wait to receive them in the post next week when they have cooled down! Would highly recommend this activity to anyone wanting a new and 'different' experience. You get so much help, anyone can do it!!

Had a fantastic glass blowing experience today! Bailey was a fab teacher, very friendly and I enjoyed every minute of it! As it is so local to me, I will definitely looking for other courses to attend!

My husband and I did the full day glassblowing in January this year. We were in a group with two lovely, fun guys and we all had a good laugh. Bailey is a very chilled, friendly tutor and he has lots of patience (came in handy with me!).
We watched as he demonstrated the process and each took it in turns to make a paperweight, a bauble and a vase. He gave as much or as little help as we needed and you are never left alone, he is beside you at all times ready to help/advise
The Glass Hub has a few different rooms, one for glassblowing and others for other types of glass classes. There are loos just outside and a kitchen where we sat and had drinks and lunch together. Parking is pretty much on the doorstep.
We had our pieces delivered and they arrived quickly and in one piece!
Would definitely recommend.

The Glass Hub and its staff are absolutely excellent. My wife and I were lucky enough to be gifted an all day private lesson which was lead by Bailey and supported by Georgia, both of whom were fantastic and lovely! We made loads of top quality glass items from baubles to vases. We learnt so much from Bailey who is extremely talented and knows so much about the craft! Very highly recommend to anyone thinking of trying it out either through private lesson or group lessons which I imagine would’ve been lots of fun as well. Will definitely be returning to have another go with an even longer list of things to make :D p.s. thanks to Amy for her packing skills made sure everything got home safe and sound!

Very organised and friendly staff. Obviously experienced. Patient and made the day fun.
Hands on experience, made 3 glass pieces.
Flexible when we had to re-book due to covid.

I booked onto the Glass Hub's web page for an excellent 1/2 Day Glass Blowing Experience near Trowbridge with tutor Rosie for £130.
Good joining instructions and friendly welcome with fresh coffee in the morning.
Helpful, instructive tuition and encouragement paying attention to safety at all times.
Pieces are left to cool overnight before being ready to collect of post out at cost. There was a small whoopsie where they posted the wrong piece to me, which whilst annoying for a couple of minutes was dealt with immediately by Rosie calling around the other students to track it down - highly professional customer service, solving the problem quickly, efficiently and with absolutely no fuss - THANK YOU ROSIE!!!
A truly great crafty course with professional staff in a good safe environment, set in stunning Wiltshire countryside - Thank you again for a great mornings glass blowing.

We run courses in glass blowing and other glass techniques, pre-booked for people to attend , can I ask for more details about your question as to whether we are dog friendly? I.e. are you attending or interested in attending a course? Do you want bring your dog? So that I can answer your question more clearly.

Course prices vary according to what you are interested in.....all details are on our website.....and we don't normally run half day courses except at Chrsitmas, when we have bauble blowing and christmas ornament sessions. We can however arrange custom bookings for a half day if you contact us on 01225 768888. Best wishes - the Glass Hub Team
