Beautiful property, good tasting wine presented by knowledgeable and engaging people, in our case Vadim. Whether the tasting, Bistro or gardens, the setting is very nice

After eating at the Bistro and having a glass with our meal, we headed round to the cellar door for a wine tasting.
We drank some great wines, learnt what is meant by “oh that’s a great year” which I generally say whenever I see a wine label, understood optimum vine growing conditions, areas across NZ for growing particular grapes (comparisons to France for aid/context) and answers to whatever questions came up from this absolute wine novice. Felt truly guided through the experience by an expert.
Not just a wine tasting, you’ll learn things here too.

The staff were welcoming on arrival & seated us perfectly to enjoy the sunset experience. The food selection was well balanced and priced fairly, we chose the both the platters on offer & they were delicious. The waiter suggested a wine that would suit our meal & she was spot on. Would highly recommend & wouldn’t definitely go back again!

After a very poor experience at a neighboring vineyard, we were delighted to be served by a considerate and flexible approach to wine tasting. Delightful wines and we would have loved to have taken more with us but hindered by the logistics.

Just breathtakingly stunning …felt like I was in France. The scenery and the setting was gorgeous. It was a Tuesday and they were very busy. The Bistro and Bar was booked out however it was a lovely day so didn’t mind sitting outside. There are lots of different areas to sit even beanbags on the hill above. It was my favourite winery of all the 4 we visited. 10/10

Nothing wrong but nothing really good either. Great setting on a nice day but once you get past that Mudbrick is really overrated.

Some vineyards are better than others; Mudbrick Vineyard is one of the more up-market destinations on Waiheke the Island of Wine. The vineyard is on a sloping block overlooking Huruki Bay; the gardens are impressive. Mudbrick Vineyard not far from where the ferry pulls in at Matiatia. The wines are very good. A tasting fee is charged, which is refunded when you buy more than a certain value of wine.

We had a private tour. Cost $150 for 2-10 people. There were 9 of us. About the tour: The guide was great and took us for a stroll around the vineyard and told us the history. Quite step in places and very hot in the sun.
About the “wine tasting.” We were given a thimble size taste of 3 different wines, Piont Gris, Rose and Malbec Merlot. All the bottles had more than half the wine remaining which was taken away at the end of the tour. No discount for buying wine, which other reviewers mentioned. Felt completely ripped off. For the price, the opened bottles should have been left for us to enjoy.

I had a very enjoyable wine tasting experience here. They have three tasting options available and I choose the premium option. You get to taste four wines (which is the same for the other two options). With the premium you taste two white and two red wines. I thought all four were very good and ended up buying a couple of bottles. The premium tasting option cost $15, but will be refunded if you spend over a certain limit. Overall an enjoyable experience and well worth visiting if you are in the area

Just spent the afternoon enjoying the degustation menu which was delicious to say the least. Amazing place with stunning views. Our
french waiter this afternoon, Jean Tristan, was very friendly and knowledgeable of all the food that he served! Mudbrick is one of my favorite places to dine.

Hi there, there are taxis that you can get from the ferry terminal and also there is a hop on hop off bus that goes to all the vineyards
