I am unable to add the website link but Google Segwai Waiheke Island below is the age and weight recomendations from their website SegWai does not set any specific age restriction but we recommend our riders to be 13 years or older. All riders under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an Adult. The Segway has adjustable handlebars to suit different heights. Weight restriction – riders should be between 45kg min – 125kg max (99 – 275lbs). Unfortunately no exceptions to these limits will be allowed as the Segways are primarily controlled by shifting weight and we must ensure the safety of the individual, other riders and the general public. SegWai reserve the right to ask riders to weigh-in prior to the commencement of the Segway hire. Indemnity forms must be completed onsite and prior to use of the Segways. The Indemnity form must also be co-signed by a Parent or Guardian if the rider is under the age of 18 years.

While they don't set a definite limit 13 is the recommended minimum. I suggest contact Andrew as he was very helpful and friendly.

Hi Diane, We don't really have an age limit as such, the Segways are primarily controlled by shifting body weight so we do have weight limits for all riders. Riders must be between 45kg and 120kg. Also unfortunately we do not allow pregnant ladies to ride with us for the safety of both mum and bubs.
