I can't recommend the Jojo Jacob Ayurveda Centre highly enough! After years of suffering from chronic back pain and sciatica, I was fortunate to discover this gem last year through a hotel owner's recommendation. My first visit involved just four sessions, and the results were remarkable.
This year, my husband and I specifically planned a 10-day stay in Cherai Beach for my back treatments. Jojo Jacob is an incredibly skilled therapist with a unique healing gift, and he leads a professional and dedicated team. The clinic itself is clean, well-equipped, and offers great value for money.
My treatments were personalized, starting with a thorough consultation with a doctor, followed by prescribed Ayurveda medicine and dietary guidance. The knowledge I've gained about Ayurveda principles has been invaluable, and most importantly, I've experienced significant improvements in my health.
I genuinely feel much better since beginning treatment at Jojo's clinic. We’re already planning our return from London next year to continue our journey with Jojo Jacob's Ayurveda Centre. If you're looking for effective treatments and a positive healing experience, this is the place to go!

We have known JoJo for 20 years, having first visited him at Cherai Beach Resort in 2002 where he started his career as a Ayurvedic Masseuse. We have only recently returned to Cherai Beach. Cherai is a well kept secret, and for a lot of tourists depending on Kerala is not well known. Unfashionable but authentic and picturesque. Just right for us. We have had massages all over India in a variety of places but none have met the standard or value for money that we receive here. The clinic is comfortable a clean without being showy, but the standard and quality of massage both myself and my wife received are second to none. We made a visit to JoJo a daily treat during our two weeks in Kerala this year. JoJo's two supporting staff Jerri and Sulekha are not far behind in mastering JoJo's technique and we have been happy and content whoever provided a service. We will be back soon!

From late October to mid-November, my wife and I were allowed to take a break at Jojo’s Prakruthi Ayurveda Spa in Cherai Beach – and what can I say? It was just fantastic!
Every day there were soothing Ayurveda massages and treatments for me that completely relaxed not only my body but also my mind. Everything is individually tailored to your needs, and right from the first consultation you notice: Everyone understands their craft.
The doctor takes a lot of time, explains everything super understandably, and you feel in good hands right away.
Jojo himself is a soul of man. With his many years of experience, he takes care of each of his patients with a warm manner. You immediately notice that there is not only professionalism, but also passion behind it.
I would like to highlight the clean and welcoming atmosphere in the spa, you just feel comfortable. So if you are looking for an authentic Ayurveda experience, this is the place for you.
So if you're looking for a place to do something good for your body and soul, head to Cherai Beach! It's only 45min from Kochi - perfect to reach with Uber. Jojo and his team are waiting for you – and believe me, you won’t regret it!

I had a great time in this Ayurveda center where I went 5 days in a row.

I had an amazing time in cherai.
During 3 weeks,i received a daily treatment : plants and oil massage, milk rice massage,...such a enjoyable moment!! I feel rejuvenated!
A special thank you to josmyne,my therapist with golden hand for her good care,and to all the staff ,but also to jojo for his good advices.
I recommand this warmfull place .

For us, the ayurvedic massage was a new experience. We had different treatments and enjoyed each one. I can only recommend it to everyone. After such a treatment you feel so good. Many thanks Jojo and Team

My family (wife, adult son) were at Lakefront/ Sam Yoga at Cherai Beach for 5 nights and therafter i (alone) for another 8 nights. During the stay we had personalized Ayurveda treatments from Jojo and his team.
Jojo and his team (Jerin and Suleka) came to our accomodation at Lakefront/ Sam yoga. There was a separate room there for the personalized Ayurveda treatments by Jojo and team (with consultation from the visiting Ayurveda doctor Dr Karthik).
While my wife enjoyed Abhyangam + Elakizhi and Navarakizhi over 3 days, i had the opportunity to enjoy Podikizi, Abhyangam and Elakizhi with Steam over a period of 11 days. Therafter my muscles are very relaxed. Thanks to Joho and Jerin. During the whole detox i was looked after very nicely by Jojo who is both talented and professional.
It was a unique and satisfying experience. The sound of rain falling on the leaves is so relaxing while getting the Ayurveda treatments.
Thankyou very much Jojo for the great sessions. We will be back!

I performed a total body Ayurvedic massage in this center: very good professionals, great treatment, great kindness, fair prices. The lady who welcomed me is really very good. The massage also included a relaxing treatment on the head, which was really remarkable. Thank you!

My Ayurvedic treatments at Prakruthi Ayurveda Spa were Divine. Jo Jo is an incredibly gifted, skilled and talented therapist. His 20+ years of experience make him the best therapist in the Cherai area. He was so in tune with my needs, I felt like God was massaging me through him. His therapies provided me relaxing and rejuvenating healing. His facilities are clean and well kept. Note that his facility is not to be confused with Prakuthri.life, which had a different owner. I highly recommend Jo Jo and Prakuthri Ayurvedic Spa. I live in New York, but am hoping to go back there again!

I did a 21 day Panchakarma. Jojo is amazing and I thoroughly recommend him, very professional and attentive to your needs, the treatments are fantastic. All the team are so friendly and helpful. Dr Karthik was extremely professional and helpful.
I can’t wait to go back next year and every year…..it’s truly a wonderful experience for your mind body and soul and I feel truly blessed to have had this experience. Thank you 🙏
