We did the game room breakout in Taunton and what a brilliant escape room, such a great theme and layout, harder puzzles that made you think but not so hard that you got stuck for the whole game. Also we had an amazing game master, Callum. We know game masters can make or break escape rooms and he definitely made ours so thank you very much! If we are up country again we will definitely pop back in to complete the other rooms.

Great gem of an escape room! Our host Rachael was lush! She was really enthusiastic and we really enjoyed our game with her. We liked how we agreed during the briefing how we wanted to play our game, e.g number of time prompts (if any), level of help we want etc. With prior escape rooms you get its a "one fits all" vibe but I really appreciated how Rachael tailored the game to suit us and knew when we really needed the help. She let us think rather than just giving us the answer.
We did 'Return to the Chamber' and it was brilliant! The props and effects really add to the experience and i loved it. We haven't done an escape room in a couple of years but this is by far our favourite. We will be back to take on the other room and hopefully the ones in Taunton too.

Have now played both the current rooms at Western, one with just my partner and one with her and another friend who was a complete newbie. Both rooms were good fun, escaped both times but not too quickly which is what you want. I would suggest 6 players might be a few too many, especially for the room called "The Music Box" as the puzzles are sequential but the hosts are great and the puzzles are well thought out. Highly recommend!

Brilliant. Done the return to the chamber room. So well thought out, great clues, loads of fun. Very friendly staff, helped us at just the right times without being intrusive. We almost escaped, just 2 mins out. I'd highly recommend you give it a go .

Visited as a family to do the 'Return to the Chamber' room. We arrived a few minutes late but they didn't mind and accommodated us. Room was great fun, suitable for the family. I think it was Rachel who was our host, she was friendly and guided us at certain times to help us through, and eventually escape with just seconds to spare! On Rachel, She certainly seemed to enjoy her job and added to making it fun for us. Would certainly recommend a visit here.

We played the Return to the Chamber game and absolutely loved it. Very clever and magical and immersive. We've played all the other escape rooms in the area and have to say we think this was the best. The staff were great as well and very polite and we can't wait to come back again!!

We finally made it to the Christmas escape room in West Wick after COVID postponed it! We were welcomed in - following all COVID rules & made to feel very welcome. Myself & my sister took our three children aged between 8 & 12 and we all thoroughly enjoyed it and were all able to participate due to the variety of challenges. When we had to rearrange due to COVID rules we had a quick & helpful response. We can’t wait to go again!

The Alchemy Enigma was a good challenge for us and our 11, 15 and 17 year olds.
It’s quite a small space but packed with props and clues, and there was a good variety of decoding, unlocking and finding hidden things. Happily, we all made a contribution!
Unlike some other escape rooms where you get a team trophy/photo/certificate etc (all a bit unnecessary really), this is a no frills approach.
Brilliant fun for an hour with very nice hosts.

My partner and I took part in the escape room, music box. On arrival the host was welcoming followed the covid rules, which enabled us to feel safe. The game was brilliant! The puzzles were challenging, we laughed and escaped with 34 seconds to spare! We would recommend this, it was a great date night. Dave and Katy

Annie B, Lock and Code is the business name for the escape room activity in Weston-super-Mare. It's run by a really friendly couple. They're very welcoming and helpful and the escape room is well thought through and creative. Highly recommended!
