Saint Bartholomew’s Church in Ljubljana is the oldest church in Ljubljana. It was built about 1370 and is built in the Baroque style. It is an historic Catholic Church near the Tivoli Garden entrance.

This old church is renovated, but still looks good.The architecture is beautiful including the exterior. A good place to take a photo.

Originaria del 1370 (se fosse realmente così tra le più antiche chiese cittadine) ma la sua ultima trasformazione risale alla fine degli anni trenta del novecento ad opera di Jože Plečnik. Abbastanza semplice l'esterno con pietre a vista. Nulla posso dire sull'interno purtroppo perché trovata chiusa nonostante i miei ripetuti passaggi. Alla prossima.

St. Bartholomew's Church stands in Šiška, near the Celovška street and under Tivoli hill. It is and old structrure rebuilt in Baroque period. You can recognize it with a tower. In 20. century it was rebuilt again by architect Plečnik - mainly outside. Be careful - address is Celovška street and not Trg sv. Jerneja in Kočevje. Check the opening time.

Es una de las iglesias más antiguas de Liubliana, fue construida en el siglo XIV. En 1930 fue rediseñada y restaurada por el famoso arquitecto esloveno Jože Plečnik. Está un poco alejada de los circuitos más visitados pero se trata de una atracción ineludible para todo aquel interesado en el diseño arquitectónico.

Church is the highest building in the medieval part of Kočevje. It is just 110 years old but it seems to be there for centuries. It has huge interior with some interesting sculptures and decorations. Church was dedicated to St. Bartholome but later they added St. Fabian and Sebastian. First plan for the church with two towers was prepared by famous Austrian architect F. von Schmidt.
