Ljubljana is a great place to visit....Hotel Grand Union is a great place to stay ,very close to city centre and there are all kind of attractions around the hotel...Nice river front, Indian and Chinese restaurants and many more.....Worth taking a ride to country side...Its beautiful

We had a great time here watching the blue planet film. It's no ordinary cinema and if you have never been to a dome like cinema before it's worth a visit.
The lady (Neza) was absolutely lovely and made the visit.

這個盧比安娜天象館是一個半圓球體的建築物。內裏是一個三百六十度的放影院，播放着一些有關天文的電影。整個外型就像一個迷你版的香港太空館，內裏就像太空館的天象廳。

Having done the usual sights in Ljublijana we happened upon this wonderment, a pop-up planetarium in the middle of the city. We saw “JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF MILKY WAY”, “SOLAR SYSTEM – A WOUNDERFUL JOURNEY” - as well as a third extra short about Felix Baumgartner and his jump from space. The experience is wonderful and the hosts are even lovelier. This is a must!!!!!!!

I understand French a little bit, but you will have to excuse me for responding in english :) Thank you for your review and visit! As you have noted, we do have projections in foreign languages every day - on customer's request, we can also provide certain movies in Italian, Russian, Chinese and plenty of others. Unfortunately, there are none in French just yet. But this could change in the near future as well :) Cheers!

My partner and I were wandering the streets of Ljubljana just strolling and people watching and taking it all in when we happened upon this strange igloo shaped tent standing on the corner of a city street.
When we figured out that it was a planetarium we were beside ourselves with excitement! Surely there couldn't be an *actual* planetarium in this little tent?! We spoke with the lovely lady out front and made plans to be back for the next show!
When we arrived we were shown into the Planetarium (YES! It was the REAL one!) and we sat in a small theatre on comfly chairs and laid back to be completely immersed in the universe.
Honestly, this was one of the most spectacular experiences of my life and one that I will never forget. I could never have imagined that the films would be so clear, the sound so rich, the atmosphere so perfect inside this magical little dome on a street corner in a small city in Slovenia!
If you find yourself in Ljubljana, do yourself (and your friends, family, partner, children) a favour and seek out Planetarij Ljubljana / Ljubljana Planetarium. I promise that you won't regret it!

I am not so much into space but this experience was absolutely amazing. I really felt like I was somewhere in space. If you are in Ljubljana, this is absolutely a must-see place. :)

It was our first time in the planetarium like this one: we've spent there unbelievable 30 minutes! The experience was so strong that it felt much longer. The stars and planets are appearing unexpectedly, making you feel like you are really on a space travel! Amazing special effect and no special glasses needed. Great for all generations!
