C’est une fontaine plutôt chargée que nous pouvons admirer là mais elle vaut le coup d’œil tant ce genre de chef d’œuvre est rare

Dans la cour intérieure du château de Buda on trouve l'énorme fontaine dédiée au roi Matyas - roi mythique des hongrois.
La fontaine est construite contre le mur et n'est donc pas une fontaine traditionelle au milieu d'une place.
En haut on voit le roi qui est en chasse; il regarde devant lui et en contre-bas on trouve ses chiens, ses aides et sous ses pieds l'énorme cerf abattu par le roi.
En bas sur le côté on voit une statue d'une jeune fille - Ilonka - qui tomabit amoureuse du roi pendant qu'il chassait. Quand elle a decouvert son identité elle est morte de chagrin d'amour en sachant qu'elle ne pouvait l'avoir à cause de son titre royal.

So much detail on this fountain & I don't remember the whole tale our guide told us about King Matthias. Certainly one of the things to be seen while in Budapest. We walked around the area.

Фонтан считается одним из символов Будапешта. Построен в 1899-1904 гг. скульптором Алойшем Штроблем и архитектором Алойшем Хаусманом и украшает стену королевского дворца. Во время Второй Мировой войны пострадала фигура одной собачки, которая была восстановлена, но отличие все же видно.

Heel Boedapest en de oude stad Pest is zeer de moeite waard. Je moet het echt gezien hebben.En je moet ook de achterstraaten doen.Daar is zoveel meer.Top

Como casi todo Budapest, fuente Neogotica con alegoría sobre la vida del Rey Mathias. Bien integrada en el conjunto palaciego, le otorga al mismo un plus de monumentalidad.

There is a story about this fountain that I will tell you. In ancient times, there was a king who went to the forest to hunt. The Fountain of King Matthias is a monumental statue situated in the western forecourt of the Buda Castle's Courtyard.
The statue depicts a hunting party led by Matthias Corvinus, the king of Hungary. The bronze figures are standing on heaps of rocks against the backdrop of the northern façade of the former Castle Church.
In my opinion an amazing statue in its beauty and highly recommeded DONT MISS IT.

This is the most beautiful fountain on the Buda side of town, there's absolutely no doubt about it.
However, the fountain is currently dry and sealed off from view due to renovations.

Nel cortile interno del monumentale e panoramico Castello di Buda, la "Fontana di Mattia" rappresenta un gruppo scultoreo molto ben tenuto che raffigura una vasta di scena di caccia, con protagonista, appunto il Re Mattia. Raccomandabile.
