What a treat! This museum is an experience rather than just something to "view". The whole setting is amazing and worth the Uber ride for sure! What a great story of how it evolved, and the permanent installations as well as the temporary exhibits were incredible. What a venue, and the sculpture garden was the icing on the cake . The cafe actually had some of the finest pastries we had in our five days in Bratislava, and the gift shop is nicely curated. The ferry on the weekend would have been our choice of arrival but we went on a weekday. Highly recommend spending an afternoon here.

Excellent pour les amateurs d'art contemporain. Pour les autres, ce musée se visite avec plaisir d'une part parce que l'exposition est variée, d'autre part l'exposition extérieure est belle, n'hésitez pas à parcourir le jardin, point de vue sur le Danube extraordinaire et allez sur la terrasse, c'est super sympa. Accueil de qualité, la cafétéria est très bonne.

Schöner Ausflug, sehr sehenswert. Tolle Atmosphäre innen und kunstvoll gestalteter Außenbereich. Gratis parken direkt vor der Tür.

Must see, worth a trip even just for the museum and its surrounding! I have been to many museums in Europe, and this was a very nice experience. Do not expect really big international artists, but you will not miss it at all! I would say 2-3 hours if worth to spend here and it is good to go in nice weather, you will be amazed!

Zeer mooi museum gelegen in de Donau. Prachtige collectie moderne kunst die je zowel buiten als binnen kunt bekijken. Een aanrader!

E' un po' fuori dalla città (circa 20 km, a sud), ma raggiungibile col bus pubblico (uno all'ora la domenica; però, se piove, non c'è alcuna pensilina per l'attesa). La collezione permanente è interessante - soprattutto slovacca a nederlandese. Noi abbiamo amato maggiormente le mostre speciali. In mezzo al Danubio, con viste spettacolari. Da vedere.

Perfect place, perfect space, Very fine experiance. Outside nice walk and relax by Danubue river. I recomend it even you have kids any age. It is not for long hours.

I Think art museums can be boring, but I loved this. The art is very colorful and expressive so your senses get a shower. The museum is very scenisk beautiful livstestamente next to Danube.

I need information about a few of the pieces. What are they called? Who did them? The Pink sculpture outside. The Colorful Faces sculpture outside, the 3 bodies on the blue triangle ladder, the 6 or so red pieces that look like they are made of string, the blue "string ball". And inside the museum, the orange tube that has the paper boats at the bottom, the silver balls in the green gel, and 2 other paintings. Anyone have info on these pieces? My daughter is studying Slovakia for a school project and has recreated some of the museum. She wants to have info on what they are called. Thanks so much!!!

The orange tube: it is just an installation made for that space, not an actual artwork

Hi Cathy most of the information on the artists displaying at the Gallery are detailed on the museum website It has basic information i am sorry I am travelling at the moment otherwise I could consult a book I have on the museum and provide more info
Also if your daughter wants to get a good feel of the place I did a few blogs on you tube one of them is. Called

Hello! Yes, we have a monitored parking lot in front of the Danubiana museum. The access is through a ramp, you will get a white card on the way inside, which you will validate at our reception on your way out. The parking lot for our visitors is FREE. There is also another parking lot just across the street, which is just few steps from our museum.
