The customer service was wonderful, friendly and informative of display items. A nice setup in Fremantle Markets. Love it.

From the cruise terminal we took the free shuttle to the Info Center in Fremantle. From there we walked to the Market and picked up a couple of mangoes and a half kilo of dates. The market is well known and dates back to 1894. One building was fruits and
vegetables, another for clothing, and sundry items mixed throughout the market. Lots of sweets and items to tempt the palate. The market is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

I visited around noon on Sunday and it was very crowded.
Food, accessories, various souvenirs, clothing, and more can be enjoyed here. I bought rugby goods as souvenirs for my son and my wife bought accessories.

It was overcrowded and the food was average. Standing up and trying to eat while you are being knocked and jostled by others is annoying to say the least. Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne is 10 times better.

Freemantle Market: Come weekend, the historic Freemantle Market is utter madness. It’s elbow to elbow crowd, all frantically trying to find cheap but good market grub. Items fly off the shelves for Eggspot sandwich bar, as well as Palace Patisserie which has a sweet intimate sit-down for those hankering after borek, baclava or other Middle Eastern favourites. It isn’t cheap but it’s a smorgasbord of good eats, souvenirs, fresh produce and Aussie products. #eatstylishtravelstylish

Fremantle market is the most busy place in Fremantle, with a lot of fantastic vibes and vibrant environment.
The popcorn was amazing and we loved the coffee so much. The milk shakes were nice.
The fruits were reasonable price, and some local accessories. However, some shops that advertise themselves at all clearance are really overpriced.

Interesting old building, markets were smaller than we anticipated, with lots of imported goods for sale. Visit if in Fremantle, but don't make a special trip.

We caught the bus in from Fremantle Village Caravan Park $1.20 each way as seniors.
Bus stops right outside Markets.
Lots of interesting stalls featuring a multitude of wares and foods.
You could spend a couple or more hours here.
Well worth a wander around.

We came by to look around the markets since I was wanting to go to Sate Freo located here.
The market is an old building which has a variety of shops inside. One end has the food court and the produce while the other has more jewelry and random items. It isn't super big but it is a nice place to try and find something different. I quite liked the selection of food here since it was so varied, including an amazing satay place and souffle pancakes.
It wasn't super busy when we went but it was still bustling. There were also a few local spirit stores sprinkled throughout the market. I was also able to get some mondo nougat here. Keep an eye out for the robotic kangaroo.

Love love these markets so many stalls and so much to look at - a def must visit if you are in the area. There is a wide variety of food stalls and lots of clothing and other stalls. You could spend hour wondering around.

They are open Friday 9am - 8pm & Saturday & Sunday 9am to 6pm 😊

在Perth市中心 乘到Fremantle的火車，只需半小時，星期日上午十一時到達，已經很熱鬧，相信開放時間會早一些，食物種類很多。

Have plans to visit Caversham Wildlife Park in the morning via the Shuttle bus (return transfer to hotel at cbd) and visiting Fremantle market in the afternoon. Expecting to reach Fremantle market at 3pm via train fr Perth Station. Is this plans feasible? Is the stalls at Fremantle market still open at 3pm? How long does it takes to shop around at Fremantle market? Was planning to have dinner at kailis fish market cafe after Fremantle market.

As I recall the train trip is about half an hour so that should be doable. How long it takes to get around the market depends on how much interest you have in the stalls...I spent less than an hour there. Some people might spend an hour and a half. I am not sure what time the markets close...easy to check on line.

Sorry, we are only open Friday - Sunday and Monday public holidays.
We are happy to take you for a tour inside but the stalls won’t be open.

Thank you for your message.
It all depends on what type of experience you are after. If you like crowds then I recommend visiting around lunchtime on Sunday where there is a buzz and the market is full.
If you don't like crowds then I recommend visiting on Friday or Saturday morning.
