‪Great tasting, great presenter. Alexis described us quite well the different wines the winery is offering. And the view is really nice.‬

‪Great views, delicious food, and amazing wine‬

‪A group of seven of us went to the Batch Winery for lunch on Saturday. The staff were very accommodating and let us choose where outside we wanted to sit and even let us move the tables around for the view. There was a huge range of food to choose from, including gluten-free and vegan options. The portions were medium-sized, but we probably over ordered per person. We thought it was well priced for the calibre of the winery. We would definitely go back!‬

‪The most amazing wines and food, beautiful scenery!‬

‪There are several wineries on the island. I chose this one as it is located at the highest peak. The views are great, but the wine and food were SPECTACULAR. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, providing information about the wines, the growing climate and the process of crafting the wine. The setting is also very beautiful and comfortable. I had lunch and it was amazing. I was told the pavlova dessert was not to be missed, and that was definitely correct! Maybe the best meal I have ever had. So fresh and beautiful presented. This is a “must see/do” in my opinion. ‬

‪Went on a Saturday afternoon. Views were amazing. Service very good but the food was absolutely awful.
We ordered fish and lamb ribs which we couldn’t eat.
The platter was just crackers, cheese and meat from a supermarket.
Gnocchi was decent.

Overall we had a nice time but I would not return to eat here.‬

‪Lunch and wine with a view!‬

‪One of three wineries we visited on the island. The wine was delicious and the lunch was fabulous. Full of flavour in every bite.‬

‪Sensational in every way‬

‪This place is amazing from the wine to the food and service everything is on point. Setup in the hill it’s a little dark to find at night but once inside the ambience ambience is lovely for sensational. Service was fast and professional. We enjoyed the Pinot Noir.‬

‪Très bel endroit qui donnent une vue sur les vignobles et le paysage montagneux. Le repas était de qualité, mais le service manquait un peu de chaleur, que ce soit pendant la dégustation de vin, ou au repas…‬

‪Lunch in the rain‬

‪Enjoyed the short rib and Pinot Gris wine was excellent. A bit of a cold rainy day .

What a pity The Batch Winery seems to totally disregard care for the environment.
I have never seen such a massive infestation of noxious weeds from their dining room veranda. There was Pampas, Moth Plant , woolly night shade,, climbing dock and tradescantia all growing in a wild jungle and totally out-competing any native species that might be struggling to become established.
Getting rid of this eyesore and encouraging native birds would greatly enhance the dining experience and view over the native bush‬

‪Beautiful place‬

‪We ate lunch here and it was fabulous. Generous portions and so tasty. Wine was delicious and service was friendly and fast. We didn’t have coffee. The views are beautiful, you can eat inside or out, and the ambience was peaceful and relaxing. A beautiful place.‬
